The Nintendo Switch eShop charts for the week of June 15, 2025 are now available.
Just like last week, Deltarune manages to maintain its streak at #1. And despite the recent launch of Mario Kart World, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has actually moved up in the rankings to #3.
Below are the full Nintendo Switch eShop charts for the week of June 15, 2025:
Ahead of its debut next week, we have gameplay of Lost in Random: The Eternal Die. A half hour of footage shows it running on Nintendo Switch.
Everything you need to know can be found in the following overview:
Devil’s Third went through a bit of a rollercoaster during its development. Originally, THQ was slated to publish the game and it wasn’t even planned for Nintendo platforms at the time. But after THQ went bankrupt, South Korean company Doobic picked up the project. Doobic ended up going out of business itself, and eventually, Nintendo stepped in to handle it.
Whether it was because of the change in partners or another reason, Devil’s Third didn’t turn out well even though it initially seemed to be a potentially interesting Wii U exclusive. But now in 2025, director Tomonobu Itagaki has reflected on the title, feeling that it “was innovative for a game of its time”.
A new list is available outlining Nintendo Switch games that automatically run at 1080p on Switch 2 in handheld mode.
With the previous system, titles would always try to hit the native 720p resolution for portable play when possible. When you run them on Nintendo Switch 2, that’s usually the resolution you’ll get. However, a few actually go beyond the limit, and will run at 1080p automatically – in other words, you don’t need to download any patches.
Here’s the full list:
Nintendo Switch 2 launched last week with a bunch of games, but one of the system’s big selling points is its backwards compatibility. Almost every game released on the previous console is supported. Nintendo has even come out with a few free updates that offer bonuses like improved frame rate, enhanced resolution, and more. We’ve also seen Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom with new editions. But that’s not all, as many Nintendo Switch 1 titles automatically run better on Switch 2 – at least ones that had uncapped frame rates and dynamic resolution.
So while you’ve probably been playing a lot of Mario Kart World, have you tried out any specific Nintendo Switch games on Switch 2? Which titles have impressed you? Let us know in the comments.
Listings on the eShops provide file sizes for a bunch of Nintendo Switch games. These include Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, Locomoto, and more.

Totaka’s Song, which has been an Easter egg in Nintendo games going back decades, has been found in Mario Kart World.
The Easter egg originally snuck in by Nintendo sound designer Kazumi Totaka. The melody first appeared in the Game Boy game melody way back in 1990, but has since appeared in more recent titles like Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer (plus other entries in the series) and Mario Kart 8. Now it’s here in Mario Kart World as well.
The next playable characters have been revealed for Pokemon Unite, which will add Latias and Latios. The announcement took place during the 2025 Pokemon North America International Championships today. This will come in celebration of the game’s anniversary in July.
Unfortunately, that’s all of the information we have currently. No details have been shared about what they’ll actually be like in the game. There’s also no word on release timing.
We’ve started up a new post containing all Mystery Gift codes for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. This hub will be updated throughout the lifecycle of the two games with all codes and other distributions as they’re announced.
Codes and distributions can provide all sorts of things. Redeeming them will give you special Pokemon offered in distributions, certain items, and more.
