The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending November 29, 2025 is now available.
The top three are unchanged this week with Mario Kart World in second as the top Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive. Elsewhere, Pokemon Legends: Z-A moved up a spot to #5. It’s also worth noting that Kirby Air Riders is out of the top 40.

Paramount is planning a “Sonic Universe Event Film”, it’s been announced. It already has a release date of December 22, 2028.
Details about the movie are scarce at this point. However, to clarify, the project is in the pipeline alongside Sonic the Hedgehog 4, which is slated for March 19, 2027.
Gameloft has announced full details about the next Disney Dreamlight Valley update known as “The Winter Ball”. Nintendo Switch players can access it starting on December 10, 2025.
There’s a bunch of new stuff being added, including Cinderella with Friendship Quests and more. Other additions include the Winter Warmth Star Path, a DreamTeams feature, quality-of-life improvements, and more.

Dotemu and Tribute Games have assembled once again to deliver a brand new beat ’em up, this time around delivering a unique Marvel super heroes beat ’em up game that takes you from the streets of NYC to Asgard and beyond. With the two sides hot off the heels of their well received 2022 title TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, many fans including myself were very excited to see what they could cook up with the vast Marvel library to pull from. The gameplay in TMNT was widely praised for how smooth the movesets for each character was and how good the control felt, which is key for a beat ’em up game. With a strong IP like Marvel to create a story around, what did the team come up with?
We have another look at Assassin’s Creed Shadows on Nintendo Switch 2 as a video has emerged that acts as a comparison for the PS5 and Xbox Series S versions.
There are cutbacks as expected – elements such as lighting, level of detail, textures, animations, shadows, draw distance, and reflections have been adjusted. Still, this is ultimately the same game you’re getting on other platforms, and the overall aesthetics have been maintained.
June 2024: Tomba 2 is on the way to Switch, Limited Run Games has announced. A release window was not provided.

Tamarindo’s Freaking Dinner now has a release date on Nintendo Switch. The game is slated for December 11, 2025, Celery Emblem announced today.
It’s been nearly three years since Tamarindo’s Freaking Dinner was revealed for Nintendo Switch. It did come to PC last year, and we’ve been waiting on the first-person horror adventure game since then.

Ubisoft is about to deliver its second Nintendo Switch 2 port with Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and some of the first gameplay has now emerged. 35 minutes is available from the final retail build in docked mode.
Ubisoft recently delved into the work that went into this port, and it sounds like the team went all out. DLSS is used when played docked while a special VRR algorithm was made for handheld mode. More details can be found here.
