Shigeru Miyamoto recently made a big deal out of certain codes players can obtain in Pikmin 3. Miyamoto has now posted a follow-up message on Miiverse outlining how the “reward” can be accessed.

On the Wii U’s Internet browser, visit this link. You’ll need to input your code – and that’s it. A video should then appear.

Multiple videos have already surfaced online, so it’s not just one that we’re dealing with. You can find the clips after the break.

Teyon has announced the next release in the Heavy Fire series, and it’s due out on the 3DS eShop in just a few days.

Heavy Fire: Black Arms 3D is slated to launch on August 15 in both North America and Europe. Pricing is set at $4.99 / €4.99 respectively.

Below is the official overview:

The stage is set in the deep overgrown jungles of South America, where players take on the role of Will, one of the highly experienced US marines sent to fight against the largest international arms trafficking cartel known as Fuerza de Voluntad. Feeling the heat of the frontlines, this first person shooter allows players to upgrade their weapons and advance military ranks as well as experience the rush of having to reload their weapons before another spring attack. Each consecutive mission intensifies in action as player’s aim to vanquish the entire cartel in the most thrilling 3D military shooter!

Heavy Fire: Black Arms 3D will also include the following features:

• Complete missions through dense South American jungles with destructible objects and environments
• Tackle missions with different vehicles including helicopters, tanks and on foot
• Ability to advance in military ranks for access to faster and more powerful weaponry
• Hardcore first-person shooter with special 3D effects for a surreal experience

Some have said that Nintendo should take its franchises elsewhere. This has never been a realistic option, however, and president Satoru Iwata has said that such a move would only be a short-term fix to achieve profits.

“If I was to take responsibility for the company for just the next one or two years, and if I was not concerned about the long-term future of Nintendo at all, it might make sense for us to provide our important franchises for other platforms, and then we might be able to gain some short-term profit. However, I’m really responsible for the long-term future of Nintendo as well, so I would never think about providing our precious resources for other platforms at all.”

Attracting people’s attention isn’t so easy these days, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata believes. More information is circulating than ever before, which places a limit on the ability to pay attention.

Iwata told Toyo Keizai:

What I feel most now is that getting the attention of customers in video games is much more difficult than before. With all of the information that people have access to now, the ability to pay attention is limited. These big differences occur, whether we like it or not.

Platinum Games has updated its Wonderful 101 blog with a tenth post. You can find it here. Today’s update covers Unite Morphs.

And so it appears that Nintendo is sticking to the Japanese boxart for Zelda: Wind Waker HD’s European release.

That leaves North America as the odd man out. For the US cover, Nintendo went with a golden hue:

Speaking in Famitsu this week, Platinum Games’ Hideki Kamiya discussed just how big a project The Wonderful 101 is. Not only does the game possess Platinum’s largest team, but it also went through the longest development cycle.

Kamiya, at one point, also commented on the volume of The Wonderful 101. He’s not usually a fan of saying how much content there is until players reach the end, but he did confirm that the title has “more volume” than Bayonetta.

Kamiya stated:
