Don’t Starve is the latest game from Klei Entertainment, the same studio behind Mark of the Ninja. While the title is only available for the PC at present, it sounds like Klei has quite a bit of interest in bringing it to handhelds as well.
One fan recently asked Klei founder Jamie Cheng on Twitter about the possibility of releasing Don’t Starve on the Vita/3DS.
Cheng wrote in response:
@thegrimheaper we’d love to, but no concrete plans yet!
— Jamie Cheng (@biiigfoot) May 3, 2013
It isn’t entirely clear if Cheng was specifically referring to the PlayStation Vita, 3DS, or both. In any case, we may be seeing Don’t Starve on a portable system in the future if Klei pursues its interest.
After hitting Europe earlier today, Toki Tori 2’s first patch is now available in North America. Patch notes can be found here.
This is just the start of Two Tribes’ future support for Toki Tori 2. More updates are planned for the future. You can let Two Tribes know what you’d like to see changed/added by giving feedback through Miiverse.
Super Metroid was one of the four digital rewards added to Club Nintendo in April. As many of you know, the title will be included in the Wii U Virtual Console Trial campaign next week, meaning it will be available for just 30 cents for a full month.
Those who ordered Super Metroid from Club Nintendo and are now receiving a full refund – yes, the complete 150 coins. You should be getting the full amount back as long as you’re a Wii U owner. Amazingly, these Club Nintendo users can still keep the download code for use on the Wii U or Wii.
A very generous move on Nintendo’s part!

Mario Golf: World Tour is due out sometime between Q2 and Q3 2013. When exactly it will be launching is unclear at present.
GameFly has, at least, offered one possible date: August 25. The retailer’s listing could be the real deal based on accurate leaks in the past. We’ll just have to wait and see!
Wii U owners should be able to download an update for Wii Street U shortly. It adds a number of features, including the following:
– Can register places as favorites.
– Nine new recommended spots added.
– Miiverse support.
– Take pictures of places and post them to Miiverse, can view others’ contributions, as well.
– Can tag your pictures with your thoughts. The tags include “normal”, “awesome”, “beautiful”, “unusual”, and “scary”. Can also view pictures based on a certain tag.
– Can now “spoiler” your images as well, which covers up the image with a question mark.
The Wii Street U update will be going live today. Of course, it’s free to all users.
