LEGO City: Undercover’s newly opened website confirms that the game won’t have any multiplayer. The teaser page lists Undercover as a single-player experience. There had been speculation regarding the possibility of co-op play, but it looks like those rumors never panned out. LEGO City looks quite enjoyable nonetheless!
Thanks to Jax for the tip.
NE’s contact form has been experiencing issues for the past two weeks or so. Unfortunately, most messages sent through the form were most likely not received. We’ve since corrected these problems (as well as a few annoying behind-the-scenes items), so feel free to write in to us once again.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf finally has a North American release date. As was announced during last week’s Nintendo Direct, the game will launch in the states on June 9.
That date may seem like a long ways off (well, it kind of is!) but you can at least get a pre-order in and rest easy knowing that New Leaf will be yours in just a few months. Reserve the game at Amazon here or GameStop here.
Bungie’s next game, Destiny, is heading to a whole bunch of different platforms. But as things stand now, it doesn’t seem as though the Wii U will be included in Activision’s plans.
Destiny has been confirmed for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and “future generation technology”. Even a PC version is up for consideration. Bungie, however, has said nothing about a Wii U release.
Will the situation change in the future? We can only hope.
Fans of the Toki Tori series may remember that the series started out on the Game Boy Color. The game is also available on the 3DS eShop right now.
Toki Tori’s portable roots begs the question: could we ever see Toki Tori 2 on the 3DS? The short answer is no.
On Twitter, Two Tribes explained that Nintendo’s portable isn’t capable of running the title fast enough.
In order to make it happen, the studio would need to “use the same systems but build a different game around it that suits the hardware better.”

“@getsuga_tensho: is there any chance of a 3DS version of Toki Tori 2 if you saw interest for it?”Nope 🙁 3DS can’t run it fast enough.

The only way we could get it on 3DS is to use the same systems but build a different game around it that suits the hardware better.

It would look super sweet in 3D though, the layered backgrounds are perfect for the depth effect.

Gunman Clive has been an absolute success on the 3DS eShop. The game has now managed to outsell the Android release, according to creator Bertil Hörberg.
Last month, Hörberg confirmed that Gunman Clive 3DS outsold the iOS version as well.
Hörberg tweeted earlier today:
The 3DS version of Gunman Clive has now outsold the Android version
