Nintendo will publish Nimble Sakura Warrior in Japan on November 16 for 700 yen.

Could we see a 3D remake of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for 3DS? While that’s far from being confirmed at this point, Skyward Sword producer Eiji Aonuma somewhat teased the possibility.

In an interview with GamesRadar, Aonuma said:

“Well actually, even Mr. Miyamoto himself has been talking recently about going back to the 2D Zelda games, in particular the ones that were designed with multiple levels to the world like A Link to the Past, and taking those 2D graphics and recreating them in 3D so that you could get a sense for the depth of those worlds. That’s something that might be interesting to do, so I would say there might be a possibility of something like that in the future.”

I’m in agreement with Aonuma: that idea definitely be very interesting. Is this something you guys would like to see?

In the past, Nintendo was non-committal about featuring more than one controller for Wii U. Rumors indicated that technical limitations may restrict the amount of tablets the console could support. But Develop now claims that Nintendo has modified the system so that two Wii U controllers can be used at once.

Develop’s source said:

“Nintendo now know they absolutely need to support two tablets. At E3 they didn’t commit to this, but they know how important it is to make it technically feasible to support two screens. Even if that affects framerate, as a developer and player, I don’t care. It needs to work. Developers will design appropriate games for this. If you’re building a quiz game you’re not going to give a shit about the framerate.”

Two Wii U controllers is likely all we’ll get. Although four tablets is basically out of the question, players will be able to add in Wii Remotes and accessories for multiplayer action.

During an investor’s briefing a couple of weeks ago, Capcom was asked why Monster Hunter Tri G is being made for the 3DS.

The company said:

“First, we believe that using the Nintendo 3DS will allow us to offer new types of expressions, game play action and enjoyment for the ‘Monster Hunter’ series, which has attracted a broader range of user segments. In addition, we selected this platform with the goal of reaching a diverse spectrum of customer segments, including current users of the ‘Monster Hunter’ series as well as people who have portable game consoles.”
