Thanks to the latest issue of the Official Nintendo Magazine, we have the first review of Mario Party 9.
The title earned an 86% in the March 2012 edition of ONM. The previous game in the series, Mario Party 8, received a 69% score.
Reviewer Chirs Scullion said Mario Party 9 “is a big comeback which has breathed new life into a flatlining series”.
New details from the review include:
Capcom previously acknowledged the now notorious spelling error on the spine of some copies of Resident Evil: Revelations. The company today detailed their plans to provide fans with replacement inserts.
Fans can either sent in an email to [email protected] or call the Customer Service line at 650-350-6700 to receive a new insert.
Capcom wrote on their blog:
“As you may well have heard by now, the title of Revelations is indeed misspelled on the spine of the game box (as ‘Revelaitons’). Unfortunately, the initial North American shipment of the game will reflect this error, but we just got confirmation that subsequent shipments of the title are being repackaged to have the correct spelling. Meanwhile, customers who have received the misspelled version can contact our Customer Service line at 650-350-6700 or by email at [email protected] and we’ll send you a new insert for your case.”
… And now Capcom can (hopefully) put this issue behind them.
