The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending November 30, 2024 is now available.
No new releases keeps things relatively quiet. However, games like Super Mario Party Jamboree, Nintendo Switch Sports, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are in the top ten. EA Sports FC 25 is the overall top seller.

Wargroove 2 is the latest game getting the Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial treatment – at least in Europe.
If you have access to the service, you’ll be able to play the entire game for free. The offer will be available for a week – between December 5 and December 12. After that, those looking to buy the game will be able to use their save data in the full version.
Fantasian Neo Dimension isn’t too far away now, and Square Enix is already sending out the launch trailer. Mistwalker’s RPG is finally about to appear on consoles for the first time, including Nintendo Switch.

For a limited time, Nintendo Switch Online members can claim new icons based on Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins.
This is the classic game of the month for December. Subscribers can redeem icons featuring characters from the game. Only five are up for grabs, and each one costs 10 Platinum Points each on My Nintendo.
If you’re going for full 100 percent completion in Mario & Luigi: Brothership, one part of the game you’ll need to clear is its 29 challenges. Despite being called challenges, most of these actually aren’t particularly challenging at all – moreso time-consuming. Challenges are completed by performing certain tasks in battle, and clearing each one grants a small reward. We’ve completed all 29 challenges in Mario & Luigi: Brothership and have a few tips for you if you’re looking to do the same.
Do note that some of these challenges involve using Bros. Moves, which means the name and identity of all ten Bros. Attacks will be spoiled here. The names of certain locations will be listed as well. We won’t be including any story details, however, so keep that in mind before you move on.
Gameplay has come in for The Epyx Games: Sports Collection, which was only announced for Nintendo Switch a few days ago and just launched. A collection of Epyx retro classics are included in the digital package.

A new leak is making the rounds that may give us a look at the design for the Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con.
A video with the shots was posted to the Chinese video sharing website Bilibili. We get a look at a few different things, including snapping off the Joy-Con (at the beginning here, which is blurred, making things hard to see) instead of the current sliding mechanism.

When is a “cozy” game not, in fact, a cozy game? EA’s surprise re-release of the Wii-era MySims games for Nintendo Switch is a curious case of historical revisionism, given that both the original game and its follow-up MySims: Kingdom both pre-date the term by at least a decade. Nevertheless, the original games’ twee 2000’s aesthetic and alleged cozy credentials have merited a quick and dirty remaster job for the Nintendo’s hybrid. Nostalgic pull aside, the awkward holdovers that come with Wii Remote controls, and stiff competition within the genre dull the franchise’s grand re-appearance.
Nintendo shared new data today revealing the top 20 best-selling games on the Japanese Switch eShop for November 2024.
Dragon Quest is always a big deal in Japan, so it’s no surprise that Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake. It’s not easy to overthrow Super Mario Party Jamboree, but Square Enix’s release did just that. Super Mario Party Jamboree settles for #2 this month. Platform 8 is the only other new title on the chart.
