Warren Spector acted as director on Epic Mickey – as well as its sequel. As a huge Disney fan, it was a big passion project for him.

Spector reflected on Epic Mickey and its initial reception while speaking with Venturebeat. As someone who worked on immersive sims before like Deus Ex, this was a big change in terms of what fans came to know him for. Specter said “gamers didn’t get it”, but he’s still “proud of Epic Mickey”.

Publisher Thermite Games and developer Memo Gogo will be putting Sophia the Traveler on Switch, the two sides have confirmed. A release window hasn’t been announced.

Sophia the Traveler is a hidden object game with a hand-painted art style. The team says it’s like a Where’s Wally take on a visual novel.

Phew Phew Games will soon be bringing its new title Anomaly Agent to Switch. It’s on track for release on January 25, 2024, the studio has confirmed.

Anomaly Agent, a cyberpunk action-platformer, promises “fluid combat, a time-bending story, quirky characters and a catchy synthwave soundtrack”. The game will have players punching or shooting mobs of enemies and impacting the story with the choices they make as they attempt to save the world by stopping anomalies.

Switch has reached a new sales milestone in Spain, as it’s now confirmed that the console has surpassed over three million units in the country.

We previously reported that Nintendo’s system sold over two million units in October 2021. It took about two years to add another million onto the total. The one million mark was reached by the end of 2019.

When performing certain actions in Toad Rally – or Friendly Runs – like stomping enemies or vaulting, the meter will fill up as usual. Once full, the Wonder Flower will appear – and you’ll even hear music from the Switch game. Coins in the stage will then turn into Gold Goombas, who can be defeated by touching them.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet aren’t quite finished with The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero DLC, as a new epilogue has just been announced. It will launch on January 11, 2024.

A brief trailer was posted online for the epilogue today. Arven, Penny, and Nemona will be featured. In order to access it, players will need to have completed a certain postgame event in the main game as well as the main stories of the original two DLC episodes.

A new update released today for OU which adds the brand new Zarry’s Story.

The story naturally stars Zarry and it can be accessed once players beat the main experience. Note that this update also includes an encyclopedia of sorts and new language support.
