Gameplay has emerged for DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing. We’re able to see a couple of tracks with Shrek as the main racer.

In case you missed our previous coverage, check out some details on the game in the following overview:

Five years after launch, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe got new content with its Booster Course Pass DLC, and we’ve put together a guide that covers all release dates and tracks.

Nintendo has opted to focus on remastering previous tracks. Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart 7, and Mario Kart Tour should all have representation.

In an interview with NHK, longtime Super Mario Bros. composer Koji Kondo discussed the original game’s music and the making of the Ground Theme.

Kondo spoke with the outlet about how his first go at the track was scrapped. That’s because when it came to the actual gameplay and not just more of a still image that he initially saw, “the rhythm of that song didn’t really match.” Kondo also mentioned his overall goal for the game, which was to “create enjoyable music never seen before using only three notes.”

The Behemoth has come through with a launch trailer for Alien Hominid Invasion. After it was announced in 2020, it saw its debut this week.

Everything you need to know about the game can be found in the following overview:

Thanks to Did You Know Gaming, we have insight into a couple of short-lived Retro Studios projects – specifically Adept and “The Blob Game”.

Adept was playable in a rough state, but was ultimately just a pitch that Nintendo turned out. It was running in the Metroid Prime 3 engine and was intended to show off mechanics. In late 2007 and into early 2008, Retro was working on Adept that took inspiration from Portal while evolving on the premise – primarily by introducing combat.

It turns out that Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection is only a few weeks away, with the eShop revealing a final release date. Fans will be able to pick it up on November 22, 2023.

Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection was first made known in April. Following fan feedback, Limited Run Games announced in September that the package would include the requested SEGA Genesis titles as well.

System: Switch
Release date: November 2, 2023
Developer: Square Enix / Gemdrops
Publisher: Square Enix

Star Ocean has been around for a very long time, but for various reasons it has never gained the same sort of recognition or critical acclaim as Square Enix’s other long-running franchises such as Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. A series that blends science-fiction and fantasy in a mix that might best be described as hit-or-miss across its six installments, it seems to be something that those who have heard of it either embrace wholeheartedly or tactically avoid. But the common consensus amongst fans is that Second Story is the best the series has been to date. After bringing Star Ocean: First Departure R, a port of the PSP remake of the first game, to Switch, Square Enix have now released Star Ocean: The Second Story R, a full remaster of the original game in a new engine with a host of quality-of-life improvements to make it a more modern experience. It is with great pleasure that I say that this is a resounding success, and captures the charm of the original while improving upon it in almost every way possible.

According to a message on social media from developer Puppet Combo, Nintendo isn’t allowing Christmas Massacre to be released on the Switch eShop.

Puppet Combo announced that the game will be heading to PlayStation on November 17. In response, one fan asked about a potential Switch version. Puppet Combo then said “it’s too crazy for Switch”. The same is also apparently true for Xbox, and it won’t be launching there either.
