Bokosuka Wars II is heading to Switch, Pygmy Studio has announced. The game will be released sometime this year.

It was roughly a year ago that we heard about Downwell creator Ojiro Fumoto joining Nintendo. That relationship didn’t last terribly long, with Fumoto confirming that he’s already gone from the company. He’s returning to his roots and becoming an indie developer once again.

The good news is that Fumoto left on his own terms and the two sides still have an amicable relationship. He wrote on Twitter that working at Nintendo was “an incredible experience”.

Fire Emblem Heroes has kicked off a few different events in time for the start of 2019.

First, the previously-announced Tempest Trials+: An Alliance of Princesses event is now live. Rewards include the 5-star Special Hero Laegjarn: New Experiences and two Sacred Seals.

Playful Corp appears to be bringing its platformer Super Lucky’s Tale to Switch.

The studio’s concept artist made mention of Nintendo’s console in resumes. In a couple of CVs, it’s stated that this person worked on “environment assets for the upcoming Nintendo Switch port.” Gearbox Software outsource manager Jesse Sosa, who was at Playful Corp until the end of 2017, also says he shipped Super Lucky’s Tale on Switch as part of his LinkedIn profile – though it has obviously yet to be released (or officially announced).
