At New York Comic-Con last week, Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura revealed a new collaboration with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. The Kingdom Hearts III director is making original male and female weapons along with armor and original Felyne equipment.
Nomura spoke a bit about his involvement with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate with Famitsu this week. “I’ve publicly stated that I love the Monster Hunter series, especially the multi-player,” he said. “So when I received the offer, I was honestly very happy.”
Nomura’s designs are specifically made for the west. They’re not available in the Japanese version of the game, which launched last week.
Square Enix has released the next batch of DLC for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call in North America and Europe.

Game Freak’s Solitiba (also known as Soritia Horse) is getting a soundtrack in Japan. It was announced on the company’s blog today that the item will be released next month for 2,500 yen.
The soundtrack contains 30 tracks, 25 of which are from the game. Another 5 are bonus tracks including Karaoke and character voices. Also included are QR codes and series codes for the 3DS and iOS versions.
The official Nintendo UK store is offering a special pre-order bonus for Ultimate NES Remix. If you reserve the game, you’ll receive a NES-themed baseball cap. This is only available exclusively through Nintendo’s online store in the UK.
