Amazon now seems to be selling New 3DS XL systems directly
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in New Nintendo 3DS, News | 3 Comments
Amazon U.S. and Nintendo haven’t had the best relationship. Because things have been sour between the two sides, Amazon tends not to sell hardware directly. It’s been possible to order Nintendo systems on the site, but only through third-party sellers in most instances.
So here’s an interesting development. It seems that, at least for now, Amazon is offering New 3DS XL units directly. You can buy a black or red portable and have it sold and shipped by Amazon themselves. I’m not sure if this is a permanent thing, but it’s an interesting development nonetheless!
Thanks to Jake for the tip.

Amazon and GameStop both have unique pre-order bonuses for Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition.
On Amazon, those who reserve the 3DS package will receive the retailer’s exclusive Vampire Lord unlock bonus. This unlocks the ability to earn the Vampire Lord character. Amazon Canada is now taking pre-orders for the silver Mario amiibo. Reservations can be placed here. Keep in mind that Amazon Canada doesn’t ship to the U.S., sadly!
Just like with other retailers, Amazon Canada lists a May 29 release date for the silver Mario amiibo. That still hasn’t been confirmed by Nintendo at this point, but it’s pretty much a lock.

Update (5/1): Pre-orders open at Best Buy.
Pre-orders are now live for Mighty No. 9’s physical version. You can reserve the game on Amazon here or GameStop here. Note that there is not a 3DS option at present, which makes sense given how the portable versions are arriving later.
It’s also worth mentioning that Amazon and GameStop are listing the same price point. Mighty No. 9’s physical release appears to be priced at $30.
