Capcom announced Tokyo Game Show 2018 lineup

Gamescom is still going on, but the next big gaming event is coming up soon – Tokyo Game Show 2018 will take place from September 20th till September 23rd. Today, Capcom announced their lineup for the show. As far as Nintendo systems are concerned, Capcom will be showing off two games: the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection and Mega Man 11 on Nintendo Switch. Completing Capcom’s lineup are Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil 2. All of these games will be playable and will also be getting stage presentations.

Capcom to offer Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate demo tomorrow

Ahead of Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate’s western launch this month, Capcom will be offering a demo for the game. Switch owners will be able to try out the game as of tomorrow.
Capcom has yet to detail the contents of the demo, though it will likely be identical to its Japanese counterpart. The Japanese trial provides access to 14 different weapons, three fighting styles, and three monsters.
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate launches in North America and Europe on August 28.
Okami HD Japanese Limited Edition unboxing

Okami HD might have been digital-only in the west, but Capcom did offer a physical version in Japan – complete with a limited edition. Check out an unboxing video of the package below.
Play-Asia has sold out of the limited edition, but you can import a regular physical copy of Okami HD on Switch here.

Data Discs is celebrating the re-release of Okami on Switch with a new vinyl. Fans will be able to get their hands on a selection of orchestral tracks in a quadruple LP boxset, featuring over two hours of newly remastered music and packaged in a spot-varnished hardboard slipcase. The package is rounded out by a 40-page artbook and double-sided lithographic print, and a download code for the album in both lossless and lossy formats.

Mega Man 11 getting a demo

Capcom will be giving fans an early taste of Mega Man 11 with an upcoming demo. The trial version will let players “take on all kinds of enemies and traps in the Block Man stage” and “use the new Double Gear system to slow down time or power up your shots and take down that boss”.
On Xbox One, the Mega Man 11 demo launches September 4. Switch should be receiving it around the same time, if not the same day.
