The wait for Apex Legends on Switch is almost over, as the game is scheduled to launch tomorrow. Famitsu caught up with Respawn and Panic Button to discuss the port in more detail just ahead of its release.
According to Panic Button technical director Andy Boggs, Apex Legends will run at 720p when docked. If you’re playing in portable mode, it’ll be 576p. The frame rate is 30 FPS in both modes.

Knockout City Switch beta scheduled for April

EA and Velan Studios have announced plans to host a cross-platform beta for Knockout City. The team-based multiplayer game can be tried out early between April 2 and April 4. Switch owners will be able to go up against those on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S | X. The BackAlley Brawl map, Sniper Ball, new styles, and 1v1 face-off in the playlist will be featured.

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered update releasing tomorrow – Wrap Editor and more

EA and Stellar Entertainment have announced a notable update for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered that’s releasing tomorrow.
The big highlight is the Wrap Editor, which wasn’t actually in the original game. The functionality lets you “customize your cars, apply your own style, and stand out of the crowd.”

Back in 2001, EA and Lionhead Studios teamed up on Black & White, a well-received simulation game that essentially lets you play as god. The DS was actually planned to receive a spinoff of the series, though it never came to be.
Full Fat was tasked with creating the game for Nintendo’s portable system under the name Black & White Creatures. It’s unclear why the project was scrapped in the end, though we do know that it would have been quite different as it was more of a pet simulator.
