Famitsu posted a new preview for Fire Emblem: Three Houses today. The article contains a ton of new information as well as some new screenshots, which you can view below. We’ve summarized the most important bits (credit goes to BlackKite for the translation):

Today’s featured Fire Emblem: Three Houses character is Ashe of the Blue Lions house. Born a commoner, he was adopted by Lord Ronato, head of the Caspard territory in the Holy Kingdom. As such, Ashe has a great amount of respect for Lord Ronato, and he studies and trains hard so that he can live up to his adopted father. He’s voiced by Yuuki Inoue.

Today’s featured Fire Emblem: Three Houses character is Bernadette of the Black Eagles. The only daughter of the Duke of Varley, she is extremely shy. The only place she feels comfortable at while away from home is her room in the dormitory, where she stays most of the time and attends to her hobby.

Here’s a brief clip of Byleth happening across Bernadette in the school grounds, who then hastily retreats back to her room.

The latest Fire Emblem: Three Houses character to be introduced on the game’s official Twitter account is Raphael of the Golden Deer. The son of a merchant family, he’s had a rough life as he lost his parents in an accident. He is nonetheless a very optimistic person. All he worries about is the cafeteria menu and how he can bulk up even more. However, it seems he has little interest in attending classes. He is voiced by Takaki Ootomari.

Nintendo is back with an introduction for yet another character in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Mercedes gets the focus today, who is voiced by Yumiri Hanamori in the Japanese version.

Mercedes is a part of the Blue Lions house. She’s a gentle woman who pays close attention to her surroundings and always gives a hand to those in need. Mercedes was previously involved with the Adrestian nobility, but now lives as a commoner in the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. Her past experiences makes Mercedes feel a little older than other students.

The latest Fire Emblem: Three Houses character to be introduced by the game’s Japanese Twitter account is Ferdinand of the Black Eagles. He’s the eldest son of the Aegir family, who pass down the position of prime minister. He’s very proud of his family’s status as one of the most distinguished noble families. He’s extremely confident and hates losing. As such, he sees Edelgard as a kind of rival. He’s voiced by Ban Taito.

Nintendo has prepared a double dose of updates for Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Along with an introduction for Hanneman, we also have news about Crests.

First up, here’s a bio for Hanneman:

Nintendo is back with the latest character introduction for Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Today’s focus is Hilda, who is voiced by Yuuki Kuwahara in the Japanese version.

Hilda is a part of the Golden Deer house as well as the sole daughter of the Duke of Goneryl. Possible because she was spoiled by her father and brother, she has a habit of being lazy, and can get others to spoil her. Hilda is essentially the typical “Noble Lady”. Additionally, she’s a fan of anything fashionable and colorful.

Along with featuring the game in this week’s issue, Famitsu posted an online article for Tons of Fire Emblem: Three Houses. It shares plenty of details and screenshots regarding crests, battalions, classes, academy gameplay, and more.
