Fire Emblem: Three Houses

The latest Fire Emblem: Three Houses character to be introduced via the game’s official Twitter account is Marianne of the Golden Deer. She’s the foster daughter of Duke Edmund, the lord of a distant territory in the Leicester Alliance. She keeps to herself most of the time and doesn’t talk much – as such, there are many in the academy who’ve never even heard her voice before. She prefers the company of birds and other animals; she even talks to them and opens up to them. She’s also very religious and can be seen praying every day. She is voiced by Sawako Hata.

Here’s a brief clip of Marianne talking to Byleth, saying that she thinks she’s not suited for the upcoming combat mission and prefers to be left out:

Nintendo showed off about half an hour of Fire Emblem: Three Houses during Treehouse Live yesterday, but obviously dedicated Fire Emblem fans want to see more of this game. Luckily, a couple of outlets got to go hands-on with the game and record some footage. You’ll find Gamespot’s video below, and then head past the break for Kotaku’s and IGN’s:

Fire Emblem: Three Houses won’t have much in the way of customization. Although you can choose Byleth’s gender, that’s it as far as appearance goes.

You may have heard during a Nintendo Treehouse: Live segment that there was something about a “customizable avatar.” But a Nintendo representative told USgamer: “Although you can choose Byleth’s gender and, of course, assign character skill sets, the actual avatar is not customizable in terms of look.”

Nintendo kicked off its E3 2019 live stream today with a lengthy look at Fire Emblem: Three Houses. We have the full recording below.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses will naturally be dubbed with English voiceovers. However, Nintendo has now confirmed that dual audio will be included. That means players will be able to switch between English and Japanese voices. The news was just shared during the Nintendo Treehouse: Live stream at E3 2019.

However, it seems like his passion lies somewhere else. He’s kind-hearted and loves nature and art. He’s voiced by Shogo Yano.
