Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl clone glitch discovered

Just a few days following launch, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl players have uncovered an interesting new clone glitch. Not only does it work for duplicating Pokemon, but items as well.
Twitter user Kevinfor5 seems to have made the discovery, or is at least one of the first to make it widely known. YouTuber Orcastraw then published a video explaining the glitch, which actually doesn’t take much effort at all.

This week’s UK software sales are in, and Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl are off to a strong start. The two games placed at #1 and #2 respectively. The double pack also made the top ten.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl are now the biggest launches on Switch of 2021 having toppled Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. Brilliant Diamond actually managed to do that by itself.

Pokemon games are known for having exclusive creatures depending on which version you buy, and Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are no different. Some select Pokemon were splintered off when the games originally came to DS, and that’s the case once again. That applies to some standard Pokemon as well as Legendary ones.

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield players can now partake in a new Max Raid Battle event based around Eevee.
Along with that creature itself, its evolutions are showing up more often. Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon are all here. You may also encounter a Gigantamax Eevee or a Shiny Eevee if you’re lucky enough.

Ahead of this week’s launch, reviews for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl are now starting to emerge. Nintendo just lifted the embargo on the two Switch games.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl were announced for Switch this past February. New trailers and information have been shared regularly since then, though it’s safe to say that these are traditional remakes. While the graphics have been spruced up and a few new features are included, the DS games haven’t seen a radical overhaul. We’ve already reported on the new overview trailer for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, as well as a few Japanese commercials for the two versions of remade Sinnoh adventure, but as of today, the new trailer is now available on Nintendo of America’s YouTube channel for everyone to view in its entirely in English.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus has a few bonuses planned for those who have played Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield as well as the Pokemon: Let’s Go games.
For Sword and Shield, Pokemon Legends: Arceus players will be able to participate in a research request with a chance to add the Mythical Pokemon Shaymin (Land Forme) to their team. Additionally, a Shaymin Kimono Set will be available.
