Majora’s Mask New 3DS XL systems have been tough to find around the world. However, a listing from GameStop indicates that the handheld could be restocked in one country next month.
If a listing from GameStop Italy is accurate, the Majora’s Mask New 3DS XL system will be available once again on March 27. Pre-orders are currently live here.
It’s important to point out that this situation is specific to GameStop Italy at the moment. There’s also a possibility that the retailer’s listing is inaccurate. We’ll keep you updated if there’s anything new to share about the situation.
GameStop taking in-store pre-orders for Wii U GameCube adapter, “won’t last long”

GameStop is now taking in-store GameCube Controller Adapter for Wii U pre-orders. The standard adapter can be reserved normally, though the bundle containing both the adapter and controller need to be ordered through Web-in-Store.
GameStop says in its memo that the adapters are still “limited” in stock, and “won’t stick around long”.
It also looks like these new round of adapters will ship in mid-April, as opposed to May 1 which was thrown around as a date previously.

GameStop selling black and red New 3DS XL bundles for $285
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in New Nintendo 3DS, News | 4 Comments
The black and red New 3DS XL systems are still sold out at GameStop. Yet, for some reason, the retailer has enough stock to offer two bundles.
Consumers can purchase the black and red starter bundles for $285 each. The former contains a black New 3DS XL, Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D with an eGuide, and Super Smash Bros. for 3DS. GameStop’s red bundle is mostly the same, but it naturally comes with a red system and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate instead of Smash Bros. 3DS.
You can place an order for the black bundle here. The red bundle is located here.

How GameStop is handling New 3DS XL content transfers and trade-ins
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS, News | 21 Comments
GameStop is running a promotion in which consumers can obtain $100 for their 3DS XL units and $75 for 3DS/2DS units towards the purchase of a New 3DS XL (through February 15). There’s just one issue: transferring data from one 3DS system to another requires both systems, and can take a decent amount of time to complete.
With that in mind, Polygon spoke with a few GameStop locations in Ohio and learned that there’s a plan in place for the situation. Here’s the full rundown:
- Go to GameStop. Purchase a $200 New 3DS XL
- Take your system home, go through the transfer process
- Take your existing system and your new system back to GameStop
- Return your new system for a full refund of $200
- Trade-in your existing system for $100
- Rebuy your New 3DS XL, use the $100 credit to pay for half the purchase
Not the easiest process in the world, but at least it’s something!
