Intelligent Systems

This week’s issue of Famitsu featured Fire Emblem: Three Houses once again. The magazine shared the latest details about characters, the tea party mini-game, market, and more. We’ve rounded up the information below, courtesy of Serenes Forest.

Intelligent Systems announced today that the Japanese main theme for Fire Emblem: Three Houses will be released on CD on August 7 in Japan. We’ve heard the main theme before, but now we know its official name: Hresvelg no Shoujo ~Kaze, Hana, Tsuki, Yuki~ (roughly translated: Girl of Hresvelg ~Wind, Flower, Moon, Snow~, with the last part also being the Japanese name of Three Houses, although read differently as “Fūkasetsugetsu”, which roughly means four seasons). The artist is called Caro, and this will be her debut single. The CD release contains the title theme as well as two songs called “Fallin'” and Always Be Yourself” and will be sold for 1,167 Yen.

There’s also a limited edition release (the cover of which you can see above) that also contains an additional song called “Hresvelg no Shoujo” (without the subtitle) as well as a DVD with two music videos of the main theme (a “Three Houses” version with scenes from the game and a more traditional “Caro” version) as well as a making of video of the recording sessions and an interview with Caro and Takezu Kanazai, a Music Director at Intelligent Systems. This limited edition will cost 1,667 Yen.

As a reminder, here’s clip of the main theme on Youtube:

To achieve this goal, she borrowed some money from her village and enrolled in the officer’s academy. To show her gratitude to her village, she trains diligently every day and lives a modest life at the academy. The protagonist’s father, Jeralt, is actually who inspired her to become a mercenary. Leonie calls herself his top disciple. She is voiced by Sakura Nogawa.

Here’s a brief clip of her talking to Byleth:

With that, all of the students at the academy have been introduced. Will the Twitter account move on to the teachers next? We’ll see.

Finally, it’s been announced that Fire Emblem Heroes will undergo a brief maintenance period next week to prepare for an update in July. The game will be unavailable for 1 1/2 hours, between 6 AM and 7:30 AM CEST on June 28.

Obviously the new Summer-themed Special Heroes are the big talking point of Fire Emblem Heroes today, but the game’s day-to-day business still continues today. Case in point – it’s Thursday, which means a new map has been added to Tactics Drills. “All-Piercing Arrows” can be found in the Grandmaster section; clearing it gets you 300 feathers.

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems are gearing up for the next big summoning event for Fire Emblem Heroes. Kicking off in a few hours, the game will be hosting “Summer Returns”.

Gunnthra, Laevatein, Helbindi, and Laegjarn are featured this time around. A new Paralogue Story is also planned.

Here’s a trailer for the event:

Continuing on with today’s character introductions, Nintendo is offering a look at Ingrid.

Here’s her bio:

The silhouettes of more Summer-themed Special Heroes have been teased for June 20th.

As previously revealed, a new Summoning Focus will go live on June 20th that will feature these new characters. Those interested can view the teaser image above.

The brand-new Røkkr Sieges mode is now live for the first time in Fire Emblem Heroes. In this mode, you team up with other players to fight a single, powerful foe. This first round of the battle lasts for 48 hours. There are also time-limited quests available for the next two days that require you to battle in Røkkr Sieges, as well as ones that reward you with Havoc Axes, the special stamina items for the new mode by clearing stratums of the Training Tower.

Today’s Fire Emblem: Three Houses character introduction is the final member of the Black Eagles, Linhardt. He’s the future heir of House Hevring. He’s extremely lazy and hates being made to do things. While he prefers lazing around, he’s nonetheless quite smart. He’s very interested in crests and sometimes forgets to eat or even sleep when researching them. Despite having very different personalities, he gets along great with Caspar. Linhardt is voiced by Shun Horie.

Here’s a brief clip of him talking to Byleth:
