Pro Yakyuu Famista Returns sold pretty well in Japan
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
Pro Yakyuu Famista Returns sold nearly 26,000 copies during its first week on the Japanese market. That may not seem like much, but the game actually did quite well.
Media Create reports that the first week sell-through rate for Pro Yakyuu Famista Returns was 88.72 percent. The previous title in the series, Pro Baseball Famista 2011, sold 13,000 units in its first week with a sell-through rate of 27.64 percent.
Although it has been roughly four and a half years since that and the interval between releases has been wide, the initial sales of the new 3DS game are double when compared to Famista 2011. Also, as the sell-through is very high, many shops have sold out. There is the favorable timing that Pro Baseball Climax Series is being held and the Jikkyo Powerful Pro Baseball series doesn’t see a regular yearly entry this year, so it can be considered that Famista Returns attracts the demand from baseball game fans.

Super Mario-kun, a manga series from CoroCoro Comic, has been seeing publication since 1991. It’s now been revealed that Super Mario Maker will be adding a costume based on the series.
In Japan, Super Mario-kun author Yukio Sawada will be coming out with a Super Mario Maker course on November 6. It’s unclear when exactly the costume is joining the game.
Super Mario-Kun is the third new costume coming to Super Mario Maker. Last month, we heard about plans to add in Famitsu mascot Nekki. It was also announced a couple of weeks ago that GameCenter CX’s Shinya Arino will be receiving his own costume.

Yo-kai Watch Busters’ free update detailed
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 1 Comment
Based on some information that was recently distributed, it was thought that Level-5 would be releasing a third version of Yo-kai Watch Busters in Japan similar to Yo-kai Watch 2: Shinuchi. However, this isn’t actually so. Level-5 will instead just be making a free update available on December 12 known as “Moon Rabbit Team”.
The Moon Rabbit Team update adds new yo-kai (B-USApyon, Red J, Mighty Dog, Onigama and Onigumo), new big bosses (Robonyan 3000, Kakuseihinokami, and Captain Thunder), and movie characters (Enma Daiou, Nurarihyon, and Fuu2). Level-5 also suggested that there will be some sort of benefit for those who own both versions of Yo-kai Watch Busters.
Take a look at some screenshots and art of the upcoming update below.
