Capcom’s Shu Takumi has been tweeting up a storm as of late. Takumi recently shared a status update on The Great Ace Attorney’s development, among other things.

One of the most notable pieces of information Takumi shared is that The Great Attorney’s development is complete. In Japan, the game launches on July 9.

Other tidbits Takumi shared:

– Takumi still finds the role of director difficult
– This is because while it’s “his” game, the members of his team are doing most of the work
– It’s hard to ask other people to correct their work to fit his own vision
– Luckily he has a great team and they can all look back at the project with smiles on their faces (despite the “battles” on the dev floor)
– 15 years ago, the Ace Attorney team started out with 7 people, but now it’s around 60

Last but not least, The Great Ace Attorney will be featured on Capcom TV again on June 17. It’s a possibility that Famitsu will have an article during the same week as well.

Best of all, it supports Download Play, which means that only one copy of the game per multiplayer session is required. Via Streetpass you’ll be able to share your play data with other players. The game will also have Spotpass functionality.

We’ve also got a couple new screenshots of the game. Check them out in the gallery below:

A Western release date for Rhythm Heaven: The Best Plus has not yet been announced. Who knows, maybe we’ll hear something at E3 next week?
