Today, Warner Bros. is releasing the Spider-Man Character Pack or LEGO Marvel’s Avengers. The free download adds six characters, which are as follows:

Spider-Man (Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War)
Spider-Man (Peter Parker)
Spider-Man (Mile Morales)
Iron Spider
Scarlet Spider

Here’s a trailer for the DLC:

LEGO Marvel’s Avengers will be adding a new Spider-Man character pack featuring the character from Civil War, USA Today reports. The new content is set to arrive “soon”.

Warner Bros. and TT Games have been updating LEGO Marvel’s Avengers with DLC on Wii U, so Spider-Man should be on that platform for sure. USA Today mentions 3DS as well, but I believe that’s less certain.

Warner Bros. has announced that the Classic Captain Marvel Character & Level Pack and The Masters of Evil Character & Level Pack are coming to LEGO Marvel’s Avengers as the game’s first DLC. This content is set to arrive on March 29.

Here’s a rundown of the different DLC:

The LEGO video games have always been relatively simple yet fun romps through iconic universes like Batman, Harry Potter, and pretty much everything in between. Yet, while LEGO Marvel Avengers captures that same LEGO charm that the series is known for, it suffers from a number of bumps and hiccups that manage to hold it a little further back from its older siblings.

New gameplay footage is now available specifically showing LEGO Marvel’s Avengers on Wii U. Take a look at the video below.

We’ve posted several videos this week of LEGO Marvel’s Avengers on consoles. But how did the 3DS version shape up? Take a look at some footage below showing TT Games’ efforts on Nintendo’s portable.

LEGO games often leave hints as to what’s coming next for the series. As one example, LEGO Batman 3 teased LEGO Jurassic World. Now that LEGO Marvel’s Avengers is out in North America, some players have already completed the game and are speculating about the next LEGO title.

Above is an image taken from the credits in LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, showing Peter “Star-Lord” Quill’s cassette player and headset. It’s a noticeable hint that we could be seeing a LEGO entry with a Guardians of the Galaxy theme in the future. However, it’s not yet known if the Guardians will get their own title, or if the gang will be featured in the next LEGO Marvel game.
