Update: Fire Emblem Fates has been added to the schedule. This is planned for:

— 11 PM to 12:30 AM (PST) on May 23
— 2 AM to 3:30 AM (EST) on May 24
— 7 AM to 8:30 AM (UK) on May 24
— 8 AM to 9:30 AM (Europe) on May 24

Nintendo has announced upcoming maintenance for both the Wii U and 3DS online services, scheduled for Monday and Tuesday (May 23-24). Both Xenoblade X and Pokemon X and Y are being directly affected, and online features such as play, rankings, and Miiverse in general may be affected as well. The schedule is as follows:

— 4 PM to 5:30 PM (PST) on May 23
— 7 PM to 8:30 PM (EST) on May 23
— 12 AM to 1:30 AM (UK) on May 24
— 1 AM to 2:30 AM (Europe) on May 24

— 9 PM to 10:30 PM (PST) on May 23
— 12 AM to 1:30 AM (EST) on May 24

The first period is taking place on:

– 9 PM PT (Sunday) – 1 AM PT (Monday)
– 12 AM ET (Monday) – 4 AM ET (Monday)
– 5 AM in the UK (Monday) – 9 AM in the UK (Monday)
– 6 AM in Europe (Monday) – 10 AM in Europe (Monday)

And the second period:

– 4 PM PT (Monday) – 7 PM PT (Monday)
– 7 PM ET (Monday) – 10 PM ET (Monday)
– 12 AM in the UK (Tuesday) – 3 AM in the UK (Tuesday)

Lastly, the final period:

Nintendo has a few hours of maintenance lined up for Miiverse next week. While it’s happening, all Miiverse features and services normally accessible within supported games won’t be available.

The maintenance period is set for the following times:

– 7 PM PT (May 17) – 3 AM PT (May 18)
– 10 PM ET (May 17) – 6 AM ET (May 18)
– 3 AM in the UK (May 17) – 11 AM in the UK (May 18)
– 4 AM in Europe (May 18) – 12 AM in Europe (May 18)

Note that Nintendo won’t be making changes or adding features, so this is just standard maintenance. We also know that more maintenance will take place next month.

Pokken Tournament will be impacted by three hours of maintenance on Wednesday (Thursday for folks in Europe). The downtime is expected to impact all network services for the fighter.

It’ll all begin later today with the following maintenance:
