Dead Cells will be receiving the physical treatment, Motion Twin has announced. The studio has formed a partnership with Merge Games to bring the title to retail.

Motion Twin producer Steve Filby said of today’s news:

Merge Games has published a trailer for Cast of the Seven Godsends, which is out on the Switch eShop this week. View the video below.

According to a listing on the eShop, Cast of the Seven Godsends – Redux is making its way to Switch. The official page listing has a release date of May 3.

Cast of the Seven Godsends – Redux takes a page out of the classic 2D run ‘n gun, action-shooter games. It promises various difficulty modes, a few worlds to explore, bosses, achievements, and more.

11 bit studios has prepared a new trailer for Moonlighter, which is in development for Switch. We have today’s video below.

Moonlighter will be released for Switch sometime after the initial launch in May.

Riot: Civil Unrest will be released on Switch, a listing on GameFly reveals. The retailer has it down for June 19, though that date is not confirmed.

Riot: Civil Unrest was funded way back in 2014 via Indiegogo with development ongoing since then. Director Leonard Menchiari has experienced riots first-hand following economical crisis, and wanted to share what he went through in the form of a game. You’ll be able to play as either the police or the rioters as you partake “in some of the world’s most fractious disputes.”

Next week, Merge Games and Painted Black Games will be putting The Long Reach on Switch. You can see the game in action via the video below.

Two important updates regarding Moonlighter, the Kickstarted action RPG by Digital Sun Games. We now have a confirmed release month for the game – it will launch on Switch in May. Also, the game is getting a physical release in North America as Merge Games will publish the game in that region. No word yet on a physical release in the rest of the world.

Merge Games has officially announced that it has signed with Digerati to bring out a retail version of the survival-horror game The Coma: Recut on Switch. Though it’s already out on the eShop, a physical release is set for May.

Here’s a rundown of The Coma: Recut for those who haven’t played the title previously:

Merge Games is taking two more of its Switch titles to retail. According to Amazon UK listings, Slain: Back From Hell and The Coma: Recut are getting physical versions.

Both games are listed for May 17. Additionally, they’ll cost £24.99 each.
