Miitomo has been updated with new content once again. Players can nab some new items in the latest Miitomo Drop stage, “Calling all competitors! High-Impact Sports #2”.

Available items include:

– Luchador mask
– Pro-wrestling costume (separates)
– Pro-wrestler costume (long tights)
– Boxing wear (separates)
– Boxing wear (trunks)

Users can select Miitomo Drop stages from the Shop tab. Miitomo coins or game tickets are needed to play.

Miitomo has received some new content tonight. Nintendo is rolling out Miitomo Drop stages as well as new items.

With Miitomo Drop, users can look forward to a new Miitomo Drop stage every day for the next six days. Three are for “Calling all competitors! High-Impact Sports”. Another three are for “The vast depths! The World of the Sea”. A game ticket will also be provided each day.

Calling all competitors! High-Impact Sports is out now. It has the following items:

– Medal
– Olive wreath
– Track uniform
– Tracksuit

Aside from Miitomo Drop, new items have been added to Miitomo Shop. These include:

– Dragon wings
– Sporty tank top
– Baggy tight-ankle sweatpants
– Jelly sandals
– Shell pendant
– Basic headband
– Plain short-sleeve tee
– Plain shorts

Several clothing updates have come to Miitomo today.

First, as part of the Super Mario voting event, a Boo T-shirt can be redeemed through My Nintendo in both North America and Japan. Europe’s choice is for the Bowser shirt. The reward is available for 0 Platinum Points until August 18 at 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET.

The Super Mario collaborations don’t stop there. Those who link a Nintendo Account to Miitomo can receive a Super Mario All-Stars tee for 0 Platinum Points until August 18 at 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET. New in-app T-shirts have also been added to Miitomo as My Nintendo rewards and can be redeemed until the same time.

The Candy Drop mini-game was added to Miitomo today as part of the app’s latest update. Below, you’ll find some footage of it in action.

The latest version of Miitomo is now available. Version 1.4.0 has gone live on both iOS and Android.

With Miitomo’s update, users can now participate in the new Candy Drop game. There are some other improvements/changes as well.

Here are the full patch notes:

– Added a new minigame, Candy Drop, Drop candy to get game tickets!
– You can now hear friends’ answers when visiting their rooms without using candy.
– You can now choose whether or not you want to receive the Miifoto of the Day.
– You can now select which friends’ answers you will hear.
– Improved image quality when saving Miifotos to your device.
– Brazilian Portuguese is now supported.
– Implemented bug fixes and speed optimizations.

With Candy Drop, Nintendo gives one free play per day (costs 5 Candies normally). The objective is to naturally drop a candy and reach the best reward. You’ll either receive a ticket coupon or a game ticket. Ten coupons are needed for one ticket.

Nintendo is in the process of hosting a new Super Mario collaboration for Miitomo. We found out earlier today that Europe selected a Bowser design for the T-shirt vote, and now we have the results for North America and Japan as well.

Both regions ended up selecting the Boo variant, as pictured above. Here were the final results for North America and Japan:

A couple of days ago, Nintendo held a vote via Twitter as part of a Super Mario collaboration for Miitomo – fans could vote on the design of a t-shirt depicting various Super Mario characters, and the winner would get distributed to all Miitomo users for free.

Today, Nintendo announced the results – in Europe, the Bowser design won the vote. Starting on July 29th, European users can buy the Bowser shirt in-game item for 0 Platinum Points via My Nintendo.

Miitomo users will be able to get two unique pin accessories based on Splatoon’s Squid Sisters, Callie and Marie. In honor of Marie’s victory in this weekend’s Splatfest, users will recieve a pin for free. Miitomo users only need to launch the app between now and August 1st to recieve it. Callie’s pin will be available in the Miitomo shop from July 25 through July 31.
