Monster Harvest update

A massive November 2022 update has just been released for the Switch version of Monster Harvest.

Players will find all of the quality of life 1 and 2 patches from the PC version. The lineup includes new UI, stability fixes, save system overhaul, general fixes, and new content. Merge Games says over 550 fixes have been implemented.

A new 1.03 update has gone live for Monster Harvest on Switch. It largely includes a laundry list of notable fixes as well as some adjustments.

There’s no denying the growth and exposure farming sims have garnered over the course of the last few years. These games have helped inspire and create so many unique experiences that remain both familiar yet refreshing with each new property that comes out that wants you to be invested in their town, city, and world of the farming life. With so many unique experiences continuing to come out, Monster Harvest debuted with the premise of not only living a farm life, but shaping crops into Planimals which serve as a party of protectors you could defend and battle with. The biggest drawback, however, is that the game itself seems to have more cons than pros, and Monster Harvest – which clearly has love put into it – still wasn’t ready for release despite its multiple delays.

Merge Games and Maple Powered Games are again delaying the release of Monster Harvest. It will now launch on August 31.

Speaking about the delay, Merge said the team encountered “one final development hurdle to jump over that didn’t quite work out and pushing back a little was necessary to deliver exactly what we want players to experience.”

The farming game Monster Harvest has been delayed for a second time. It will now release on August 19, Merge Games and Maple Powered Games have confirmed. That applies to both the physical and digital versions.

According to Merge Games, the latest delay will allow the team to include support for Latin America and Eastern Europe. Further polish will be implemented as well.

Kerry Vandenberg, joint owner of Maple Powered Games, said in a statement:

Monster Harvest won’t be launching in May as originally expected. It will now release digitally on July 8, with a physical version to follow on July 20 in North America and July 23 in Europe.

Merge Games and Maple Powered Games have set a final release date for the action farming RPG Monster Harvest. Initially, it will be landing digitally on May 13. A physical version will follow on June 8 in North America and June 4 in Europe.
