Disgaea originally debuted in Japan back in 2003, with Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, which has seen re-release and a DS port. Each of the games adheres to series staples, with colorful underworld units and pixel graphics. They’re mostly managed in an underworld hub, with combat being experienced in a variety of levels and worlds, each with a distinct style. As a tactical roleplaying game, Disgaea has become a staple series in the genre, with multiple games, spin-offs, a manga series, and an anime under its belt. Diving in to the newest entry in the series, let’s see how it shapes up, shall we?

Nippon Ichi Software has announced that the visual novel Kochira, Haha Naru Hoshi Yori is coming to Switch on October 28. At this time, it appears to only be coming to Japan but can be purchased worldwide via the Japanese eShop (language options are TBD).
The developer for this yuri visual novel is Daisyworld and a bunch of details about the story and characters (including screenshots) are below.

Nippon Ichi Software has released another trailer for The Wicked King and the Noble Hero. This newest release features the game’s theme song, “Hoshi no Yosuga” sung by Akiko Shikata, as well as introducing story elements from the game. The game releases in Japan on June 24th. Nippon Ichi Software has dropped a new trailer for Ys IX: Monstrum NOX, which highlights the Switch version. This over 4 minute video takes a look at several different characters, their gameplay, and even makes mention of the DLC included in the deluxe edition (Japan only).
The entire trailer is in Japanese but the gameplay can be enjoyed by anyone interested in the game. Check out the full video below!
