New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe

We don’t have the full UK charts update yet, but gamesindustry.biz reports a little tidbit on the sales debut of New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. Not only was it the best-selling game in the UK last, it also sold 24.8% more copies than the Wii U version did back it 2012.

Nintendo Switch

New sales data is in from the UK for the month of December 2018.

Nintendo had a great month, as over 30% of all games sold were on the company’s platforms. Switch accounted for 29.5% of that figure. Nintendo was the UK’s biggest publisher of physical games in December and Nintendo-published games comprised 19.3% of all games sold. During the month, Switch was the second most-popular platform, following just behind PS4’s 39.7% share.

Nintendo now has a few different mobiles games available. How did they do in 2018? Sensor Tower provides a closer look in its analysis today.

According to Sensor Tower, Nintendo’s mobile offerings generated almost $117 million worldwide in Q4 2018. That’s a 47% rise compared to the same period the year prior. On the whole, Nintendo collected $348 million in 2018, which is an increase of 15% year-over-year.
