It’s worth noting that Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Nintendo Switch Sports are both over four million units each. Additionally, Mario Strikers: Battle League is at almost two million.

Nintendo has provided new data that reveals the best-selling games on the Japanese Switch eShop for the first half of 2022.

It’s actually all retail games that make up the top five. Pokemon Legends: Arceus is #1, followed by Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Nintendo Switch Sports, Monster Hunter Rise, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

According to the latest sales data from GfK, Kirby and the Forgotten Land is now the most successful Kirby game in the UK. That tidbit of information is based strictly on physical sales. However, digital downloads are more prominent than they’ve ever been, making the game’s success even more significant.

We previously reported that Kirby and the Forgotten Land had the biggest Kirby launch ever in the UK. At the start of April, it became the series’ fourth best-selling entry.
