SEGA

SEGA has prepared a couple of new trailers for the Super Sonic DLC in Sonic Forces. Both videos are attached below.

SEGA has shown quite a bit of Valkyria Chronicles 4 since its original announcement, but we’ve yet to really see the game in action. That changes next week.

The first live gameplay from Valkyria Chronicles 4 will debut on December 27 at 8 PM Japan time during a new broadcast. YouTube, LINE Live, and Periscope will be hosting the stream. Valkyria Chronicles fan Hashiyan Kousaka will act as the MC, and special guests Naomi Ohzora (Nikola Graf voice actress) and Yukiyo Fujii (Chiara Rocino voice actress) will be appearing.

We’ll post the gameplay here as soon as it airs.

The upcoming issue of Famitsu features an article on Valkyria Chronicles 4. We will have more details once we get our hands on the full issue of the magazine tomorrow, but for now here’s what we learned from the preview of the article on Famitsu’s website (thanks to Siliconera for the translation):

First up, some details on the game’s leveling system. You don’t actually level up each character individually, but rather the classes as a whole. After you reach a certain experience threshold, you can upgrade the units belonging to that class.

We knew that Phantasy Star Online 2 Cloud would be launching for Switch in Japan sometime in 2018. SEGA has now narrowed things down a bit further, confirming a release window of Spring 2018.

SEGA has shared the following information:

– No time-consuming downloads and constant updates since everything is on a cloud server
– Runs at 30 frames per second, but there may be lag depending on network conditions
– A stable Internet connection is required to play
– The Switch version cannot play quests with models outside of the PC version
– All accounts use the same SEGA ID, so Arks Cash and Star Gems can be shared across models
– Can switch between models as you please as long as you are not logged in at the same time

SEGA issued free “Sanic” T-shirts for Sonic Forces just a short while ago. Get a closer look at the DLC in the video below.

Shortly after Sonic Forces launched, dataminers found that the game had “Sanic” T-shirt content hidden away. It has now officially arrived as free DLC.

Head on over to the Sonic Forces eShop page, and you should quickly see that the DLC can be downloaded. SEGA says that the T-shirts, available for your custom character, feature “beautifully rendered art, and virtual threads organically grown on the snowing peaks of Mt. Fuji many years ago.” At least they’re having fun with it, right?
