Tokyo Game Show 2015

The Tokyo Game Show has just announced its games lineup for this year. Note, however, that this only includes already announced games – games that will be unveiled at TGS itself naturally aren’t on this list. Check out the list here (game titles are in English).

TGS will take place from September 17th till September 20th.

Traditionally Nintendo skips the Tokyo Game Show entirely and they will do the same this year – however, one of their major upcoming titles will still be playable at the event. The 3DS version of Hyrule Warriors developed by Koei Tecmo, Hyrule Warriors Legends, will be playable at TGS. There will also be a new trailer shown and some kind of “event”.

Hyrule Warriors Legends is set to be released next year in all regions.

We haven’t heard much about Monster Hunter Stories since its announcement in April, but that should be changing relatively soon. Capcom confirmed during its Monster Hunter Tokuban 2015 Summer live stream event today that the game will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show. The expo will run between September 17 and September 21.

This year’s Tokyo Game Show was a rousing success. 251,832 people showed up the expo, which is the second largest attendance total ever – only behind last year’s event.

As far as the 2015 Tokyo Game Show is concerned, it’s been confirmed that the event will take place between September 17 and September 20. All of the festivities will be held once again at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba.
