Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Immortals Fenyx Rising have their fair share of similarities, which fans have been quick to point out. They’re both open-world action-adventure games, have mechanics like climbing and gliding, and offer mini dungeons with puzzles. Immorals Fenyx Rising does look to set itself apart by focusing on Greek mythology, a fully customizable character and more, but Ubisoft doesn’t view the Zelda comparisons as a negative thing.

Immortals Fenyx Rising associate director Julien Galloudec told Nintendo Everything that Breath of the Wild is one of the games Ubisoft looked at, especially when it came to puzzles. He also pointed out Jak & Daxter and Banjo-Kazooie as other titles the team explored.

Brawlhalla

Ubisoft today unveiled the latest collaboration for Brawlhalla. The free-to-play platform fighter is adding Po, Tigress, and Tai Lung from DreamWorks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda. All three characters arrive on March 24 as Epic Crossovers.

The event will include a new game mode, new map art depicting the spirit realm from Kung Fu Panda 3, and a new KO effect featuring Master Shifu. Mantis, Crane, Monkey and Viper, will also appear in Signature Attacks to help Tigress and Po in battle.

Immortals Fenyx Rising

Immortals Fenyx Rising was updated on Switch this week to version 1.1.2. Support for the “Myths of the Eastern Realm” add-on (and related We Are Not Alone quest), stability improvements, and bug fixes are the main highlights.

Immortals Fenyx Rising - Myths of the Eastern Realm DLC

The next piece of Immortals Fenyx Rising DLC is just around the corner. Myths of the Eastern Realm will launch on March 25, Ubisoft announced today.

Ubisoft Chengdu developed Myths of the Eastern Realm, which “introduces a new open world, characters, and story inspired by Chinese mythology, and centering on a new hero named Ku.” Players can get an early taste of the upcoming DLC as part of a free quest added to Immortals Fenyx Rising known as “We Are Not Alone”.

A notable update has gone live for Immortals Fenyx Rising. Version 1.1.1 includes the ability to create up to three loadouts, Nightmare Difficulty can be accessed without having to beat the game a first time, and more.
