Spike Chunsoft held a presentation during this year’s Anime Expo where they announced that Natsu-Mon: 20th Century Summer Kid will be receiving a worldwide release. The game is set to launch digitally on Switch on August 6, 2024 for $39.99.

A free downloadable demo of the game will also be made available starting July 30, 2024, a week before the full game releases. It will feature save data transfers, so that players purchasing the full game will be able to pick up right where they left off in the demo.

Publisher Phoenixx has announced that Touhou Hero of Ice Fairy will be making its way over to Switch. We don’t yet have a release date for the title.

Touhou Hero of Ice Fairy is a side-scrolling bullet hell game developed by GAMEPULSE. The Touhou Project-based fangame originally released on PC via Steam earlier this year.

Falcom and NIS America are presenting at this year’s Anime Expo and have taken the opportunity to announce the worldwide release date for Ys X: Nordics, the latest game in the long-running Ys series. The game will release in the West on October 25, 2024, about a month after its Japanese release.

During the same presentation, a few special editions of the game were also revealed. A Deluxe Edition is available for pre-order at all major retailers, while a Limited Edition is available to pre-order on NIS America’s official site here.

Gameplay footage has popped up for Battle Crush, a free-to-play arena-based multiplayer fighting game which released on Switch last week. We have about 20 minutes of footage focused mostly on the game’s Battle Royale mode.

Niantic has announced a new remote walking feature coming to Pikmin Bloom on June 27. The feature, called Party Walk, allows players to host walking events where the participants can share their step counts with one another throughout the duration of the event.

Developer Family Devs and publisher Toplitz Productions have announced that their upcoming game Harvest Days will be making its way to Switch. It’s set to release in only a month, on July 25, 2024.

Harvest Days is described as a cozy open world farm building and management game. Players embody the role of a tired big city resident who decides to move to the rural Duda’s Village and develop an old abandoned farm. They’ll be able to engage in expected farming activities such as crafting, resource management, and the like, as well as take the time to befriend neighbors, adopt pets, and explore their new surroundings.

Capcom has announced a new sales milestone for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. Following its recent launch on PlayStation 4, the game has breached 2 million units sold across all platforms. Prior to reaching this recent milestone, sales figures had been estimated at 1.9 million units sold as of March 2024.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin originally released almost 3 years ago, in July 2021. The first game in the spin-off RPG series, Monster Hunter Stories, also recently released on Switch.
