May 11: Cookie Clicker, which initially released over a decade ago to much success, is now heading to Nintendo Switch. A store listing revealed that the port will be available on May 22, 2025.
Cookie Clicker, an idle game, may seem simple at first as it’s initially just about making cookies. However, things quickly expand as players can amass tons of upgrades, partake in mini-games, and more.

Toaplan Arcade Collection Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 announced for Nintendo Switch [update: westen release]

May 13: Today, City Connection announced Toaplan Arcade Collection Vol. 1 and Toaplan Arcade Collection Vol. 2 for Nintendo Switch. A release is scheduled for August 28, 2025 in Japan, which includes physical editions.
Toaplan Arcade Collection Vol. 1 and 2 both feature eight games each. They’ll also come with a variety of features, including the traditional functions like rewind and save states.

Finji today announced that its latest game, Wilmot Works It Out, is getting a release on Nintendo Switch. Fans can pick it up on May 22, 2025.
Wilmot Works It Out is a puzzle building game made by Richard Hogg (Hohokum, Flock) and Hollow Ponds (Flock, I Am Dead). Players will complete beautiful images and use them to decorate the walls of their house.

Parasol Superstars is heading to Nintendo Switch, ININ Games and Taito revealed today. A release is scheduled for September 16, 2025.
This is a package containing Parasol Stars: The Story of Bubble Bobble III and Spica Adventure. Parasol Stars: The Story of Bubble Bobble III is already available on Nintendo Switch. The standalone version of Spica Adventure launches digitally on September 30.

Locomoto has a little over a month to go until launch on Nintendo Switch with THQ Nordic, Amplifier Studios, and Green Tile Digital sharing the release date today. It’s slated for June 26, 2025.
Locomoto was just announced for Nintendo Switch release at the end of March. Originally, it was given a general 2025 launch window.

FuRyu is making Beyblade X Evo Battle for Nintendo Switch, the company announced today. A release is scheduled for November 13, 2025.
Beyblade X Evo Battle builds on the success of last year’s Beyblade X XONE. New features will be included, and there’ll be an original story with unique characters.

Remedy interested in Nintendo Switch 2 version of FBC: Firebreak

FBC: Firebreak may have a shot of landing on Nintendo Switch 2. At the very least, Remedy – the team behind Alan Wake, Control, and more – seems very interested in the idea.
Speaking with Gamertag Radio, director Mike Kayatta commented on the possibility of bringing FBC: Firebreak to Nintendo Switch 2. Kayatta responded by saying that he’d “love to do it” and threw a lot of love towards the new console. That said, it wouldn’t happen imminently as Remedy is focused on getting the game out the door on platforms it previously committed to.
