April 2: The recently-released Split Fiction has been confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2. It will be available at launch.

Split Fiction, a co-op adventure game, just debuted not too long ago to a strong reception. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will take advantage of GameShare and GameChat. With GameShare, you can play locally with just one copy of the game with another player on their Nintendo Switch 2, even if they don’t own the title. GameChat will let players share live video and voice chat from their console system while playing Split Fiction together.

Deck of Haunts

Dangen Entertainment and Mantis Games plan to release Deck of Haunts on Nintendo Switch, the two sides confirmed today. Fans will be able to grab it later in 2025.

Deck of Haunts, a sinister deckbuilding roguelike, has you playing as a malevolent haunted house. You’ll build a mansion, lure unsuspecting humans into it, and terrify them into madness – or even kill them – and extract their essance.

Wings of Endless release date

A little more than year after it was announced for Nintendo Switch, we now have a release date for Wings of Endless. JanduSoft today shared the news that it’s publishing the game on May 8, 2025.

Isoca Games is behind the project, which is a pixel-art action RPG.

Puzkin Magnetic Odyssey

Today, Tokkun Studio unveiled its new project Puzkin: Magnetic Odyssey. The game is targeting release on both Nintendo Switch 1 and 2.

Puzkin is a cross-platform sandbox MMORPG “designed from the ground up to be the safest and most creative online world for families”. The game features a unique battle system, creation and construction, exploration with quests, the ability to create shops, and more.

Ship of Fools Alphy's Project update

A bunch of new stuff has been announced for Ship of Fools, including an “Alphy’s Project” update, Pew Pew Mode, plus new DLC with Golden Bay Duo and Thunder Tide Duo. Everything will be available on April 24, 2025.

The update will be entirely free. Players can look forward to four new fools, new options for runs, and new quality of life features!

Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection Arcade Classic update offline vs

A major update for Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics was just announced, which will bring along offline versus for all games and more. We have the official patch notes.

Outside of offline versus, there’ll be a game reset option, new artwork for the gallery, and more. X-Men vs. Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will be seeing a couple of specific updates as well.

GoldenEye 007 remaster cancelled Nightdive

In a new interview, Nightdive Studios revealed that Nintendo put an end to a possible GoldenEye 007 remaster.

Nightdive, which has brought back a bunch of classic games over the past decade, was hoping to tackle GoldenEye as one of its projects. However, that ultimately didn’t come to be. GoldenEye 007 has always been messy in terms of rights, and while Nightdive had mostly managed to iron things out, it turns out that Nintendo wasn’t on board with the idea.

Nintendo Switch Partner Spotlight Sale

A new Switch Partner Spotlight Sale is now up and running on the Nintendo eShop. Nintendo itself isn’t including any games, but a ton of notable third-party titles are present – some of which with massive discounts. Cult of the Lamb, Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, and Vampire Survivors are just some of the highlights.

Shotgun Cop Man release date

The upcoming Nintendo Switch game Shotgun Cop Man just received a release date. Publisher Devolver Digital and developer DeadToast Entertainment will be bringing it out on May 1, 2025.

Shotgun Cop Man is notable as it comes from the same studio as My Friend Pedro. It didn’t take long to hear about the release date as the initial announcement just took place in February.
