3 Minutes to Midnight finally launches this month, new trailer

Years after it was announced, 3 Minutes to Midnight finally received a release date, and it’s coming out in just a few days. The title heads to Switch on August 22, 2024.
3 Minutes to Midnight, a point-and-click adventure game, was revealed for Switch way back in 2018. It was originally planned for the following year, but that obviously didn’t happen. Now after the lengthy wait, we’ll be seeing the game very soon.
Glover Switch physical release revealed

Glover was previously announced for Switch, but Limited Run Games just came forward with the news that it’s working on a physical release.
Although only a standard version is planned, that in itself is pretty big news. Note that Limited Run Games says the release is not a part of its own collection and it’s simply handling distribution for QUByte Interactive.

Rachael Lillis, the voice of Misty and Jessie in the Pokemon anime, has passed away

Rachael Lillis, who was most well known for her work on the Pokemon anime series having voiced Misty and Jessie, has sadly passed away.
Lillis died on August 10 following a battle with breast cancer. She was 55.

Cooking releasing on Switch this week

Today, RedDeerGames announced that it will be bringing Cooking to Switch in a matter of days. It’s planned for release on August 16, 2024.
Cooking will have players running a restaurant in the middle of the city. They’ll complete orders, learn new recipes, and improve their skills.

Crossy Road Castle Switch release date set for September, new trailer

We’ve just received a release date for the new Switch version of Crossy Road Castle. The game launches on September 11, 2024, Hipster Whale announced today.
Crossy Road Castle revealed its new Switch version in July. No word was provided about launch timing other than “soon”.

Murder Is Game Over: Streaming Death is launching for Switch this Friday, August 16, it’s been announced. The title comes from Ratalaika Games and HitherYon Games.
Murder Is Game Over: Streaming Death is a pixel art adventure game. You’ll play as Detective Guy as he investigates the mysterious death of a social media starlet in an isolated seaside village.

UK sales for July 2024

Thanks to GamesIndustry, we have new insight into the UK gaming market for July 2024.
Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD actually managed to move up this month. After previously debuting at #14, it now comes in at #10 – and remember Nintendo doesn’t report digital sales. Just like last month though, EA Sports FC 24 took home the top spot once again.
