Five Nights at Freddy's 3 update

More than four years after it came to Switch, Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 recently gained a new version 1.3 update.

Clickteam says that loading times have been reduced, cheats are now saved, office touch controls are now revamped (and with settings). Talking more generally, there are a number of subtle improvements, fixes, and more.

Here’s the full rundown:

Wargroove 1 + 2 physical

Wargroove is set to receive a new physical release on Switch, which will package together both games in the series.

4,000 copies will be made in total. Each unit includes the game on a cartridge, reversible cover, a full-color manual, an exclusive sticker, and trading card pack.

Wargroove first came to Switch in February 2019. It was followed by the sequel last October. We have information about both titles below.

Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition

Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition has now been officially revealed. The game launches for Switch on July 18, 2024.

Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition pays tribute to the 1990 tournament held in 1990, 2015, and 2017. The game features a variety of bite-sized bits of classic blockbusters, and there are over 150 speedrun challenges taken from 13 classic NES titles.

The Lara Croft Collection physical

The Lara Croft Collection has been on Switch as an eShop download, but a physical release has now been revealed as well. Limited Run Games is in charge of production.

The Lara Croft Collection will be available as part of the game itself as well as a collector’s edition. The latter features premium art cards, an official soundtrack, and an acrylic standee, all in a throwback trapezoid box.

Read Only Memories: Neurodiver

Nintendo has updated the Japanese release schedule on its platforms for the week of May 16, 2024. Here’s a look at the upcoming digital download schedule:

Animal Well physical

Animal Well is almost here, and just ahead of the launch, Limited Run Games has confirmed plans for a physical release.

The title will be sold standalone, but a collector’s edition is also planned. Those opting for the latter will receive rainbow lithographs, holographic stickers, an acrylic display, a full map of the game, and more.

All eyes are on what’s coming next from Nintendo following Switch, especially given today’s news. President Shuntaro Furukawa finally commented on the system’s successor and confirmed that it will be announced within the next fiscal year, which ends in March 2025.

During a financial call, Furukawa was asked if the new console is brand new or something else. He responded by saying that “Switch next model is the appropriate way to describe it”.
