A Knight’s Quest, a Zelda-inspired action-adventure game, was first announced for Switch back in 2017. Publisher Curve Digital finally provided an update today, revealing a new fall release window.

Here’s the latest information about A Knight’s Quest, along with a trailer:

Last month, a new “Who’s the Boss?” 1.4 update was announced for Dead Cells. We’re happy to report that the patch is now live on Switch, offering a bunch of new content.

Here’s a quick rundown as to what’s been added:

Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has secured a major win in the UK against Switch game piracy. Thanks to a new injunction, Sky, BT, EE, Talktalk, and Virgin Media will now be forced to “block, or at least impede access” websites that help distribute pirated games, modified hardware, or provide information on how to mod consoles related to piracy.

The Switch hardware itself initially opened the doors to custom firmware. While this loophole has since been closed, Nintendo said that people are still attempting to hack the console’s current system software.

Star Ocean: First Departure R is coming to Switch in Japan on December 5, Square Enix announced today.

Some new features have also been detailed. Square Enix is including a double speed option for field movement and new voice recordings featuring the cast from the original Super Famicom version. Players can switch back to the original First Departure voices as well. While new character designs will be available, it’s also possible to go back to the original art.

When Nintendo distributes a major firmware upgrade for Switch, it’s usually accompanied by a Joy-Con update. That is once again the case for version 9.0.0.

You can update your Joy-Con by visiting system settings. Then scroll down to “Controllers and Sensors”, and navigate to “Update Controllers”. The process shouldn’t take more than a few seconds.

Nintendo never actually says what’s included in the controller updates. Still, it doesn’t hurt to carry out the process.

Nintendo has previously said that today’s update would include support for the new SNES Switch controllers. It should also address an issue starting Fire Emblem: Three Houses if you purchased the Expansion Pass. New features include Alarm Notifications, Online Play Invites, and more.

Below are the full patch notes:

Limited Run Games will offer a physical version of Duck Game, the company has announced. Pre-orders go live on September 13.

At this time, a collector’s edition does not appear to be happening. There is a confirmed two-week open pre-order window.

Duck Game is currently available on Switch as a digital download.
