Nintendo is highlighting some of the recent and upcoming Switch releases with a new video. Check it out below for a quick highlight of Mortal Kombat 11, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, and more.

A Dark Room

A Dark Room made it to the Switch eShop earlier this month. It didn’t stay up long, as it has since been pulled from the store.

We’ve seen some games leave the eShop only to return later, often due to ratings-related issues. In the case of A Dark Room though, it’s unclear if the game will ever become available again. That’s because its creator included an “Easter egg” that allows players to create basic apps, which publisher Circle Entertainment wasn’t happy about.

Overpass

Publisher Bigben and developer Zordix – the team behind Aqua Moto Racing Utopia – today announced Overpass. The off-road simulation title, which is “focused on conquering natural and artificial obstacles,” is in the works for Switch and other platforms.

We have the following overview and trailer for the game:

Not too long ago, a physical version of Cities: Skylines was announced for Switch. We now have the game’s boxart above.

We should note that, at least for now, the physical version of Cities: Skylines only appears to be planned for Europe. Nothing has been confirmed thus far for North America.

Venture Kid hasn’t gone on sale for Switch just yet, but the game is doing very well. Publisher Entertainment says that pre-sales of the retro-action platformer on the eShop have already surpassed Steam lifetime sales.

Venture Kid is due out for Switch via the eShop on May 2. If you pre-order the game, you can get it for $7.50 instead of the usual $10 asking price.

Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package

Deep Silver is preparing for the release of Saints Row: The Third on Switch by releasing a series of gameplay videos that reminds fans about some of the game’s “best bits”. Footage was captured directly on Nintendo’s console.

Here’s an introduction to the first video:

European Conqueror X

Publisher Circle Entertainment and developer EasyTech today announced that European Conqueror X is coming to Switch next week. The turn-based strategy title is due out on May 7.

Here’s some information about the game:

This past weekend, a new advert for Super Mario Maker 2 surfaced in Japan. It showed the latest screenshots, and with it, a number of details. You can find the full recap here.

We now have a better look at those screenshots. Check out the full set in the gallery below.

Super Mario 64 doesn’t exactly have a whole lot of voice acting, but there is one line that has caught on with fans over the years. That’s largely in part because no one has been able to say for certain what Mario actually says. Of course, we’re referring to his fight with Bowser – specifically when Mario spins the Koopa King around and throws him.

Charles Martinet, who voices Mario, has finally cleared up the situation. After one fan asked about the line on Twitter, Martinet confirmed that the character says, “So long kinga Bowser!”

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. Dragon Quest XI S returns to the top for Nintendo titles, but Pokemon Sword/Shield is right behind.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between April 11 and April 17.
