Chucklefish posted a new blog today that provides us with a look at a brand new Wargroove feature: Puzzle Mode. Unlike the usual objective in which players win by taking down the enemy commander or destroying their stronghold, this mode will have you thinking a bit more outside of the box.

Splatoon 2 – North American Splatfest #16 art

The latest North American Splatfest goes live in Splatoon 2 this weekend, featuring Team Salsa and Team Guacamole. As usual, Nintendo has prepared some special art for the event. We have it above.
The new Splatfest goes live on November 16 at 8 PM PT / 11 PM PT. It’ll last for a full day.

We did cover quite a bit of this last night, but there are a few extra statements with Sakurai discussing how Incineroar was chosen for the game and more.

Ultimate Chicken Horse update out now (version 1.5.064)

A notable performance patch is now live for Ultimate Chicken Horse. Version 1.5.064 is out now for all players.
After the update is applied, your game will be on an upgraded engine that fixes “most if not all crashing bugs.” The upgraded engine also allows for screenshot taking and video capture. Lastly, accessing the user-generated levels in local play will no longer require having a Nintendo Switch Online membership.
Gensokyo Defenders launches on Switch this month, confirmed for the west

Thanks to new eShop listings, we now have a release date for Gensokyo Defenders on Switch. Unties will be publishing the game on November 29.
Interestingly, Gensokyo Defenders is confirmed for worldwide release. In addition to Japan, the Australian eShop shows the same release date.

To kick off December, Tikipod has a new Switch game in the pipeline. The developer confirmed today that Rock Boshers DX: Director’s Cut is lined up for an eShop release.
Rock Boshers DX: Director’s Cut, an “exceedingly retro arcade adventure”, involves helping a young Queen Victoria fight her way across Mars and attempt to escape home with retro arcade gameplay. We have more details and a trailer below.
Blazing Chrome heading to Switch in early 2019
