Tiny Metal update out now (version 1.1.0) – online multiplayer, Act V story campaign

Tiny Metal has received a major update that adds in a couple of new features. With version 1.1.0, players can now challenge others online in competitive multiplayer. Additionally, the strategy title now brought in Act V, an extension to the story campaign introducing six new missions.

Square Enix’s Masashi Takahashi wants to do more Octopath Traveler, Bravely series, and a new series

Famitsu caught up with a bunch of different developers in its latest issue this week to reflect on 2018 and look forward to the future. Octopath Traveler producers Tomoya Asano and Masashi Takahashi were among those who participated.
Asano started out by teasing that Square Enix Business Division 11 “is moving forward with the development of several games.” Meanwhile, Takahashi has expressed interest in doing more with Bravely, Octopath Traveler, and an entirely new series.

Synaptic Drive finds a publisher, moves into full development

At the Tokyo Game Show a few months ago, Thousand Games announced Synaptic Drive for Switch. It’s directed by Kouji Kenjou, the creator of Custom Robo.
Thousand Games passed along encouraging news today, confirming that the title has found a publisher. That has allowed the project to move into full production.
Synaptic Drive is scheduled for a 2019 launch.
