Just like Nintendo of America, Nintendo of Europe has offered new information about the launch of Super Mario Odyssey in Europe.

Nintendo says that Super Mario Odyssey has become the fastest-selling Super Mario game ever across Europe. It surpassed the launch weekend sales of Super Mario Galaxy 2, which came to Wii several years ago. Super Mario Odyssey is also the fastest-selling Switch game in Europe.

The latest trailers for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon are now live. Below, we have a first look at Team Rainbow Rocket.

Nintendo has revealed new sales data for Super Mario Odyssey in the United States. During the game’s first five days, the game sold over 1.1 million copies. It’s now the fastest-selling Super Mario game ever in the US, not to mention Switch’s fastest-selling game.

Nintendo also confirmed that Switch sales in the US are over 2.6 million.

Two Tribes has finally announced a release date for Rive on Switch. Nintendo’s console will be getting Rive: Ultimate Edition on November 17.

Rive is a “metal wrecking, robot hacking shooter”. This new version lets you play with a friend in Copilot Mode, supports HD Rumble, and has 48 achievements. The game also loads faster, plays smoother, and has been “tweaked to perfection”.

Two more entries have been added to the Nintendo Treehouse Log this week. The first one involves the mechanic from 3D
Mario games involving a jump delay. The other is dedicated to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and more specifically combat.

Below are excerpts from both posts:

Did you purchase Monopoly on Switch this past week? If so, you may have encountered a significant issue with loading.

Kotaku reports that simply booting Monopoly up can take anywhere from five to 10 minutes. Starting a fresh match against AI players can take another five to 10 minutes, or possibly more. That’s not good.

Miiverse will be shutting down later this month. Its closure will have an impact on Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS, with the Wii U version in particular being affected.

Nintendo posted a message on its Japanese website today clarifying how the end of Miiverse will impact the two games. Here’s what the company shared:

[3DS only]

– Posting screenshots on Miiverse
– You can continue to share screenshots with friends with Image Share

[Wii U only]

– Sharing screenshots from gameplay, including Miiverse and friends
– Sharing stages in Stage Builder, including with friends
– Posting replays to YouTube
– Creating Normal Tourneys
– Tourney Mode will be ending entirely
– Miiverse stage can still be played, but messages will not be displayed and you can’t post messages once a match is over
