A new digital game has been revealed for Switch – and it’s arriving very soon. Panic Button will be publishing Astro Duel Deluxe on May 30 for $14.99.

Astro Duel, a competitive local multiplayer party game, was originally released on PC and mobile. This new version offers “new features and gameplay” specifically for Switch.

In a new interview with USGamer, Nintendo’s Kenta Nakanishi spoke about what the Fire Emblem team would like to improve on in the future.

The first element Nakanishi highlighted are character growth rates. About this feature, he said:

“One of the things we want to improve on in the future is the growth rate of the characters. We changed the growth rate by two times or three times from the original; but we’ve heard feedback that it wasn’t enough, so that’s something we will keep in mind for the future.”

In a new interview with Polygon, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia director Kenta Nakanishi spoke about the newly released remake.

Nakanishi told the site that Intelligent Systems wanted “to integrate things that we couldn’t do with Fire Emblem Fates on the 3DS platform.” That caused the team to look back on the past. Fire Emblem Gaiden was a game that resonated with Intelligent Systems and Nakanishi in particular since his father – who died when he was a child – had passed the game on to him.

Update: GameReactor has now clarified that the team is targeting 720p in both docked and portable modes.

Rubio started out by saying that Tequila Works was “glad that Nintendo was interested in Rime, but as you can guess it’s still a lot of work.”

Cerdá followed up on Rubio’s words by weighing in on the challenges with bringing Rime to Switch:
