Clock Tower remaster

A remaster of Clock Tower is in development for Switch, it’s been announced. The game will be available in early 2024.

Clock Tower is a survival horror game originally released on Super Famicom in 1995 in Japan. Now it’s not only coming to Switch, but getting a translation for North America and Europe. Additions include a new vocal theme song performed by Mary McGlynn (Silent Hill series), a new animated opening, motion-comic cutscenes before and after the game, a bonus art gallery, border artwork, save states, multiple language options, and more.

Chicory: A Colorful Tale physical

Chicory: A Colorful Tale previously landed on the Switch eShop, but a physical release is now in the cards. Limited Run Games announced plans for production today.

First launched in December 2021, Chicory: A Colorful Tale is a top-down adventure game that’s been held to a digital offering thus far. Read more about it in the following overview:

Dungeons of Aether physical

Thanks to Limited Run Games, Dungeons of Aether is set for physical release on Switch. News about the boxed version was just shared during the company’s annual LRG3 event.

Dungeons of Aether will only have a standard release. That being said, fans will also have the option to pick up a bundle containing the game’s soundtrack.

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron HD physical

While we’re still waiting for El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron HD on Switch, it’s now been confirmed for physical release. That news comes directly from Limited Run Games.

It was confirmed in April 2022 that El Shaddai would be bound for Switch. However, since then, we’ve yet to receive any updates. The fact that Limited Run Games has now announced a physical release is an encouraging sign though.

Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony physical

A physical release for Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony is on the way to Switch, Limited Run Games confirmed today. It will be available in the future.

Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition physical

Limited Run Games is planning a physical release for Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition, the company just announced. More information will be provided in the future.

Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition isn’t on Switch in any form yet, but that’s about to change. It’ll debut digitally on July 31, 2023.

Castlevania Advance Collection physical

Today, Limited Run Games announced that it’s working on a physical release for Castlevania Advance Collection on Switch. 

This appears to be one of the company’s products that does not have a special edition. Fans will only be able to pick up a standard boxed copy.

Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection details

Limited Run Games has provided new details on Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection. We first found out about this a few months ago, but little information was initially provided.

The Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection uses Limited Run’s Carbon Engine. It’ll feature Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park Part 2: The Chaos Continues, originally released across NES, Game Boy, and SNES.

RoadOut

Today, publisher Dangen Entertainment and developer Rastrolabs Game Studio announced that they’re teaming up on the upcoming Switch game RoadOut. It’s on track to debut in 2024.

RoadOut is a post-apocalyptic action adventure game that mixes dungeon exploration and racing mechanics. You’ll be able to explore the world in your cat, then battle your way through puzzle-filled dungeons on foot. Cited inspirations include The Legend of Zelda, GTA and Rock’n Roll Racing.
