Minecraft The Incredibles DLC

Minecraft is unsurprisingly continuing its lineup of collaborations, and today unveiled new DLC based on The Incredibles. It’s actually out right now on the Minecraft Marketplace.

The Incredibles DLC comes from Oreville Studios and Walt Disney Games. In it, the world is in danger and players need to save the day by suiting up as their favorite Super and taking on evil forces with new abilities. Those who complete the mission will receive the Incredibles Supersuit Character Creator Item at no extra cost. Nine skins based on the iconic characters from the movies are included as well, and Edna is even a part of the mix.

Thanks to Akupara Games and Videocult, we have a release date for the Switch version of Rain World: Downpour. It will be available on July 11, 2023.

You may remember Rain World: Downpour as we reported on it exactly one year ago. The DLC expansion includes five new characters with new abilities and more.

Auralux: Constellations

Grove Street Games announced today that a Switch version of Auralux: Constellations is on the way. A release is planned for June 22, 2023.

Auralux: Constellations is a strategy game in which victory is achieved by conquering constellation after constellation in an interstellar war that spans the galaxy. The Switch version will include all previously released DLC and a new control scheme.

Ugly

Publisher Graffiti Games and developer Team Ugly today revealed that Ugly is making its way to Switch. We’ll be seeing it by the end of 2023.

Ugly is a puzzle platformer set in a darkly twisted fairy-tale world. More information about it can be found in the following overview:

Akai Ito and Aoi Shiro HD Remaster physical

Strictly Limited Games, in partnership with Success, today revealed physical versions of Akai Ito and Aoi Shiro HD Remaster for Switch.

The limited edition, which is really more of a standard release, includes just the game and a manual. Only 2,500 units will be produced. Also planned is the Special Limited Edition, limited to 1,500 copies, that includes a copy of the game with a reversible cover, special edition box, manual, original soundtrack on four CDs, reversible poster, and two postcards.


SEGA announced today that it’s collaborating with pop icon Pitbull by spotlighting him as a featured artist in Samba de Amigo: Party Central.

The body-shaking music rhythm game will include the party pleaser “Shake Senora (featuring T-Pain and Sean Paul)”. A new track, “Let’s Take a Shot”, set to be released as a single for Pitbull’s upcoming album, Trackhouse, will also be available. Both can be accessed as as part of a free day 1 update for players.

Wildfrost "Fixes and Tinkers" update

The next Wildfrost update, “Fixes and Tinkers”, has just gone live on Switch. This is also known as version 1.0.5.

A bunch of stuff is included in today’s update. It includes balancing and effect changes, an improved tutorial, turn order viewer, battle-specific map icons, skippable treasure, and bug fixes.

Zelda movie rumor Universal Illumination

Original (6/8): According to reliable Hollywood insider Jeff Sneider, Universal is closing in on a movie deal for The Legend of Zelda.

If accurate and things materialize, it will be the next parntership between Nintendo and Illumination. The two sides just released The Super Mario Bros. Movie a couple of months ago to massive succes.

The Lara Croft Collection

Feral Interactive will publish The Lara Croft Collection on Switch this month, an eShop listing reveals. It will be available on June 29, 2023.

We previously reported on this back in October 2021. The collection includes Lara Croft & the Guardian of Light and Lara Croft & the Temple of Osiris. Up to four players are supported with local co-op.
