Following an update to the Nintendo Account User Agreement, the company has warned that it may brick Switch systems by those who “bypass, modify, decrypt, defeat, tamper with” their games.
This particular agreement needs to be agreed upon before you can access Nintendo’s various services. These include the Nintendo eShop, Nintendo Switch Online, and games purchased digitally. Basically, unless you’re strictly physical on everything, the agreement is something that you’ll need to sign off on.

March 6: Today, The Strong’s World Video Game Hall of Fame announced the finalists for induction.
Age of Empires, Angry Birds, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Defender, Frogger, GoldenEye 007, Golden Tee, Harvest Moon, Mattel Football, Quake, NBA 2K, and Tamagotchi make up this year’s class. GoldenEye 007 was nominated previously, but was not selected. Harvest Moon is one of the new additions this time around.
Gex Trilogy reveals release date, Nintendo Switch physical release, new trailer

It was only a matter of time until a physical release was confirmed for Gex Trilogy given Limited Run Games’ involvement, and today, the company shared full details plus a release date. The game will launch on June 16, 2025 with boxed versions to follow later in the year.
A standard version, Classic Edition, and Tail Time Edition are planned. The Classic Edition includes the game, retro box, steelbook, soundtrack selection, and 12” x 16” double-sided poster. The Tail Time Edition also includes the game, special box with art by Yoshitaka Amano, retro box, full soundtracks for all games, steelbook, 12” x 16” double-sided poster. 36” inflatable Gex doll, 7” Gex statue, remote pin, and trading cards.

Tomb Raider tables joining Pinball FX

Pinball FX has revealed new tables coming to the game with a new Tomb Raider collaboration. A release is planned for June 19, 2025.
Tomb Raider Pinball: Adventures of Lara Croft and Tomb Raider Pinball: Secrets of Croft Manor will be available. Those who play on Nintendo Switch will be able to grab the new content as DLC.

Hogwarts Legacy confirmed to use DLSS on Nintendo Switch 2, more

Warner Bros. shared more details about the new Nintendo Switch version of Hogwarts Legacy this week, including confirmation that the game is using DLSS.
This marks the second game for the console confirmed to be making use of the tech. Previously, CD Projekt shared the same news about Cyberpunk 2077.
Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles Nintendo Switch physical release in the works

We previously saw Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles on Nintendo Switch as a digital release, but now a physical edition is on the way. This comes courtesy of Super Rare Games.
The company will be offering a total of 3,000 standard copies. Each unit comes with the game on a cartridge, reversible cover, full-color manual, sticker, and trading cards.
Nintendo will “consider” Switch 2 price adjustments depending on tariffs

Nintendo currently has a $450 price locked in for Switch 2, but depending on what happens with tariffs, it’s possible that there could be an adjustment.
President Shuntaro Furukawa was speaking about the situation during a briefing following the release of the company’s financial results today. He indicated that Nintendo will “consider” price adjustments assuming “tariffs changes significantly”.

Fading Afternoon Uncensored Edition heading to Nintendo Switch with physical release [update: release date]

April 9: Fading Afternoon debuted digitally on Nintendo Switch last year, but physical publisher and distributor Tesura Games has now announced a new Uncensored Edition. It will be available later in 2025.
Fading Afternoon Uncensored Edition will include explicit scenes, gambling, blood, and events that were missing in the original version. The physical release also includes a comic booklet.
