Goodbye Galaxy Games appears to have plans for a first-person shooter on the 3DS.

Studio head Hugo Smits started out by first asking fans the following on Twitter:

Smits then wrote soon after:

All of this culminated with the following tweet:

In addition to the new 3DS shooter, Smits is trying to wrap up two more projects for the handheld, and may even bring a title over to Wii U – like a Tappingo port.

BLOK DROP U creator Michael Aschenbrenner has shared a new look at the game’s upcoming update on Miiverse. As shown in the shot above, it’ll bring about an upgraded art style, including slight shadow effects.

Aschenbrenner’s full Miiverse message reads:

Today is day 1 of my 3 day reveal for the new BLOK DROP U update. Today’s screenshot is of stage 11 and shows off the new art style. Also, you will notice that I added a slight shadow effect to the bloks and blades to give the game a dimensional look. Let me know what you think in the comments and check back tomorrow for another screenshot reveal!

Ittle Dew has been made for PC, Mac, and Linux. But it’s the upcoming Wii U version that Ludosity founder Joel Nyström says is his favorite.

Nyström told NintendoWorldReport.

My favorite version is actually the Wii U version. Being the last and final version of the game, it has a little more love and polish than the other versions, plus it has some nice features the others don’t have.

On Wii U, Ittle Dew features “a map that is revealed as you go in real time, and the ability to play off-screen.” The Pro Controller and Classic controller are supported in addition to the GamePad.

One element the Wii U version of Ittle Dew won’t support are online leaderboards. Nyström explained why this is so:

Unfortunately, we don’t have online leaderboards on the Wii U, since it would mean we’d have to set up our own servers, etc. That’s a whole other ballpark that’s outside of our reach as a small indie studio. We do still have locally saved best times, of course.

GAME stores across the UK will be distributing a pair of Pokemon for Pokemon X/Y later this week.

Starting on April 4, those who visit any GAME location can receive codes for Magmar or Electabuzz. Pokemon X players can earn the former while Pokemon Y players will receive the latter Pokemon.

Codes will be printed on cash receipts upon request. No purchase is necessary.

Electabuzz will come with an Electirizer whereas Magmar will be holding a Magmarizer. When traded holding these items, Electabuzz will evolve into Electivire, while Magmar will evolve into Magmortar.

You can find today’s announcement below with additional information pertaining to the Pokemon card game and upcoming advertising.

In this photo provided by Nintendo of America, actor G Hannelius, currently starring in the Disney Channel sitcom Dog With A Blog, films a promo for the new Disney Magical World game with actor Cole Pendery at the Downtown Disney® District last month. Disney Magical World launches exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems on April 11. Cole is holding the new Mickey Edition Nintendo 3DS XL system that will be available at Wal-Mart and the Nintendo World store.

Last week we heard about a Peach Pink 2DS system coming to GameStop for the launch of Disney Magical World. And today, Nintendo has confirmed a special 3DS XL system based on the same game.

Walmart and Nintendo World will both be selling the “Mickey Edition” 3DS XL model. We don’t have any clear photos of the system yet, but the system is featured in snapshots of an upcoming commercial for Disney Magical World that Nintendo just passed out. It looks pretty similar to the Japanese console released a few months back.

Capcom is revising its operating income forecast from 12 billion yen to 10 billion yen. For the fiscal year, the company’s net income forecast has also been slashed from 6.8 billion yen to 3.3 billion yen. That’s about a 50 percent drop.

Why the negative forecasts from Capcom? The company’s Mobile Contents business and PC Online business are to blame, with Monster Hunter Frontier specifically affecting the latter.

However, it’s not all bad news for Capcom. Sales are expected to rise from 97 billion yen to 101.5 billion yen. Monster Hunter 4 is also experiencing strong sales and the pachislot title Monster Hunter Gekka Raimei has been “highly successful”.
