Kuju Entertainment has projects in the works for next-gen projects – so says a note made in a financial report from parent company Catalis SE.

The report mentions:

“Both studios of Kuju are actively developing games on one or more of the next gen consoles (PS4, Xbox one, Wii U) in addition to currently working up pitches for new concepts, specifically targeted to the latest consoles.”

One could probably say that Kuju’s main division is Headstrong Games, the team behind Art Academy, Battalion Wars, House of the Dead: Overkill, and more. Earlier this year, an unannounced Wii U title was spotted on a staffer’s LinkedIn profile.

Headstrong has a sister studio Zoe Mode. The company has produced the EyePet games, Crush3D, and others.

At this point, Kuju’s other major division is DoubleSix Games. You may recognize them as the developer behind South Park Let’s Go Tower Defense Play! and All Zombies Must Die!

A.N.N.E. has only been confirmed for the Wii U eShop at the moment. However, the game will likely be making its way to the 3DS eShop as well.

In a new interview, Games By Mo’s Mo Broots expressed interest in making a portable version of A.N.N.E. for the 3DS. He’ll be focusing on “making a great game” for now, but Broots is “sure that a 3DS port will happen.”

Broots said:

“For sure, but it’s not in the plans as of now. All I want to focus on right now is making a great game and then I am sure that a 3DS port will happen.”
