Two Point Campus reveals Space Academy DLC

SEGA and Two Point Studios today unveiled the first major DLC for Two Point Campus, which is known as Space Academy. It will be available for Switch on December 12, 2022.
The DLC is comprised of “out-of-this-world campus locations, far-out courses, and a host of stellar student archetypes for you to mold into the intergalactic pioneers of tomorrow”. Further information can be found below.

Atelier Ryza 3 second trailer, new gameplay

Original (11/24): Koei Tecmo and Gust issued a second trailer for Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key today. On top of that, new gameplay has come in thanks to a live stream that just finished airing.

Mato Anomalies gets March release date, new trailer

A final release date has come in for Mato Anomalies, the upcoming visual novel-inspired JRPG. Switch owners can pick it up on March 10, 2023.
Mato Anomalies was announced for Switch back in July. A general 2023 release window was provided at the time.

Terror of Hemasaurus Switch release date set for January, new trailer

Publisher Digerati and developer Loren Lemcke today announced a final release date for the Switch version of Terror of Hemasaurus. The retro city smash ’em up will be out for the console on January 12, 2022.
Terror of Hemasaurus was confirmed for Switch in August 2021. It recently came to PC, but will soon be appearing on consoles.

Splatoon 3 to host Big Run event on December 9

Big Run is being introduced for Splatoon 3 as part of Chill Season 2022, and Nintendo has now set a date for the event. We have confirmation that it will kick off on December 9 at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET / 12 AM in the UK (December 10) / 1 AM in Europe (December 10). It’ll end on December 11 at the same time.
Big Run will be happening in Salmon Run. It’s a co-op event happening in the Wahoo World stage, and players will need to stop the Salmonids and collect Golden Eggs. Participate to receive a special decoration, though the strongest performers will receive an extra-special decoration.

Fire Emblem Heroes announces Veronica and Embla summoning event

Fire Emblem Heroes has revealed Veronica and Embla as its next summoning event. As the name implies, these are the only characters featured, though you’ll also be able to summon previously released 5-star New Heroes, Legendary Heroes, and Mythic Heroes.
Veronica: Princess Rising (voiced by Wendee Lee, art by Kozaki Yusuke) and Embla: God of Closure (voiced by Mayanna Berrin, art by Kozaki Yusuke) will be present. The learnable skills for Veronica include Enclosing Darkness, Enclosure, Atk/Spd Catch 4, S/R Far Trace 3, and Panic Smoke 4. Embla can use Enclosing Claw, Draconic Aura, Atk/Spd Clash 4, Beast Agility 3, and Severance.
Splatoon 3 update announced for November 29 (version 2.0.0), patch notes

Nintendo has announced a massive version 2.0.0 update for Splatoon 3, which is going live on Splatoon 3. This ties in with the upcoming Chill Season 2022.
Chill Season is bringing along lots of content, which has been previously discussed and further mentioned in the patch notes. Outside of that, there are tons of adjustments coming to weapons, ranked (ability to reset your rank), Salmon Run, Splatfests, and more. A truckload of fixes are planned as well.
One thing to keep in mind is that after installing version 2.0.0, you won’t be able to claim any Super Sea Snails from the Pokemon Splatfest. Make sure to claim them before downloading the data.

Nintendo Switch Sports update out now (version 1.3.0), patch notes

Original: Nintendo Switch Sports has just gone live with its new version 1.3.0 update.
It goes without saying, but the main highlight is the inclusion of golf as a new sport (you may recall it was planned for the fall before being delayed to this holiday). All modes are supported, and there’s even a Shot Assist option for beginners. It’s also worth mentioning that LAN play is now supported.

Nintendo Switch Online gets Super Mario Odyssey icons once again

Original (10/31): Super Mario Odyssey is once again a featured game for Nintendo Switch Online user icons. The first time this happened was in March, and the title popped up once again with new designs around July.
To kick off November, Seaside Kingdom icons are up for grabs. These include NPCs, shirtless Mario, and more. All icons cost either 5 Platinum Points or 10 Platinum Points on My Nintendo. Also, once again, you need to be a Nintendo Switch Online member.
