Could Namco Bandai be returning to StarBlade? A trademark for the name was recently filed in the US.

At this time, it isn’t clear how Namco Bandai intends to use the filing. Surely it’s for something new though… right?!

Back in July, SEGA renewed its Skies of Arcadia trademark. The game has long been rumored to be seeing a re-release as an HD port.

SEGA currently has three Dreamcast titles on the way that will be coming out with a fresh coat of HD paint.

Jet Set Radio HD is due out in a couple of weeks. Sonic Adventure 2 and NiGHTS should arrive shortly thereafter. Once those titles are out of the way, maybe SEGA will announce Skies of Arcadia HD… we can only hope!

The Wii U version of Toki Tori 2 is coming along. Developer Two Tribes gave an update on the game today, noting that the team has just started to implement the level editor.

The studio wrote:

“Today, the 1st draft Wii U specific level editor was implemented. It’s a proof of concept, so no promises yet! But it looks promising! You basically see everything you add on the gamepad being added to a paused version of the game on your TV. Switch! And Play! It is still early though, it is based on our internal PC editor but simplified and more limited in scope.”
